If the radio on the 2014 For Escape is not working then there can be a couple of reasons. The less likely option is that the radio itself is damaged or the wires running to it are bad. The much more common reason is that the fuse has blown out, either the one to the radio or the speakers. To get to the fuse box look to the left of the steering wheel look for a small seam or crack along the dash. Using a screwdriver or prybar You will want to pop this open. On the inside, You will find a bunch of fuses. On the back of the panel that You pulled open, You will see a diagram that will show You what each of the fuses is for. If this is not on the back of the panel then You can also find it in the owner's annual for the vehicle. Once You have figured out which fuse You need simply pull it out. The two sections that stick up should be connected by a thin strip of metal. If this has been broken then the fuse is no good and will need to be replaced. If this strip is there then the fuse is fine and can be popped back in. New fuses will cost You about 10 dollars, so they are pretty cheap.
No audio at all. Cannot choose source or change station. No blue tooth. Checked everything and did master reset. Still no audio.

My 2014 Escape Titanium all audio was silent. Radio, CD, and alarms were silent. Fuse was good. On line I found the answer which worked. In my car I turned off the Bluetooth on my iPhone. I cranked the engine. The car searched for my phone, but failed to find it. I shut off the engine. I turned on the Bluetooth on my phone. I cranked the engine and all audio returned. Thanks to the submitter.

If the radio isn't working in the ford escape, press the volume and seek button at the same time and that should reset the radio. If it doesn't reset, that could be a problem with a loose or blown fuse.
My 2014 Ford Escape Titanium audio went silent. My husband cleaned the fuses on the radio (front passenger) and the amplifier (rear) and everything works now. He said there was "gunk" on the fuses and once cleaned it was all okay.

Had the same problems (911 Error Message and “Entertainment Unavailable”) in a 2014 Ford Escape. After looking through this thread, I traced the problem to two blown fuses. First was F79 in the Passenger Compartment fuse block located behind the glove box at the end of the floor liner under the dash board in the front passenger side. The other was F88 in the luggage compartment fuse block located on the right side at the back. Look at the owner’s manual for more info on fuse block locations and tables detailing fuses (sizes and function).
I had problems with my 2014 ford escape radio not working for awhile. It would work sometimes and then make popping noises and cut off. Then eventually it stopped working. Come to find out, it was my battery. Check your battery power. Mine was low, and eventually died. Once I replaced it, my radio started working like normal.
Most of these no audio issues stem from broken/ defective audio control unit. Dealers are charging upwards of $700 to replace…with a repaired unit, since no new ones are available. Buy a used or repaired one on eBay for around $150 and replace yourself. Lots of You Tube videos to help. I did it myself a few weeks ago…for total cost of $180 (needed couple of tools and unit cost 150). I paid dealer $700 3 years ago for a recycled one, installed, then it broke again, so I took the do it yourself route. The actual task is easy, just requires some patience.
