If You've observed the EPC light coming on during operation of Your 2007 AudiA4 2.0 T, it's likely because there's a problem with Your drive by wire system. The EPC (electronic power control) light's duty is to notify You about these issues, or issues with Your throttle body, in which case, it'll end up limiting the throttle to protect Your engine. Some reasons You may see this light also include a faulty brake light switch, as well as a faulty crankshaft position sensor. To reset this light, try the following: Turn on the ignition switch, slowly step on the gas pedal until it's pressed to the floor, and while holding the pedal there, turn off the ignition. Keeping the pedal pressed to the floor, turn the ignition switch back on. Slowly let the gas up to its resting position, and then turn off the ignition. This short reset the sensor and clear the error condition.

When the EPT comes on 2007 Audi does that mean that it has transmission problems or could it just be a sensor
