Coolant leaks are, by and large, no fun. They can be difficult to diagnose and pinpoint, but the front passenger side does narrow things down a bit. If this is the location where Your Ford Expedition is leaking antifreeze, the two most likely causes are a fault heater core or damage to one or more coolant lines. The firSTStep to diagnose -- and then repair -- is to see if You can pinpoint the leak. If You look up while sticking Your head under the vehicle, are You able to see precisely where the coolant is coming from Is it dripping from a hose or a line, or is it running down the body The extent of the leak can also determine the failed equipment. Get back to us with some more information, and we'll help You pinpoint the cause.

I have noticed the last couple of times I drove my expedition that when I park that there is a pretty good size leak of coolant coming from in front of the passenger side front tire. I crawled under the truck but all I can see is coolant coming from the frame. Prior to this happening I had added about 1/2 of a gallon of coolant because it was low. The temp has been staying right where it always does while driving. The only other thing that I believe is unrelated is the air is not coming from the vents with the a/c on. I think that's a vacuum leak. Anyways anyone seen this any answers? Thanks

There are 2 core/freeze plugs under the timing chain cover. They can pop out, corrode or just leak. The timing chain cover gasket could also leak.
I have 2017 expedition and my 3rd top coolant hose, which has been on for about a month now, is yet leaking again, from the connection. All 3 have done this and it now can only be order at ford $97...is there any hope to fix this?

If you have a coolant leak on the front passenger side of your ford expedition, it could be a sign of a faulty heater core or a leaking hose by your spark plugs. You should bring your vehicle to a professional to assess the situation.
