If the engine on Your 2014 Ford F-150 is cranking but won't start it could be due to a failed starter, too low fuel, bad spark plugs, an issue with power, or low compression. In the case of no spark, the problem could even be with the wiring or a bad crank position sensor. A replacement spark plug has an estimated average cost of $250 to $300 for parts and labor while a crank position sensor will range from $225 to $290. Low fuel can be a result of fuel pump failure, a clogged fuel filter, or something as simple as a the fuel tank being completely empty. A poor power supply can be due to a dying battery or low voltage which won't allow the engine to actually start. This is often accompanied by a clicking sound coming from the starter.

Been having the same issue with my 2014 F150 5.0. Periodically won't start. Number 27 fuse was burned on one post. Problem solved. Question: has there been a recall on the fuse boxes? Thx.

My 2014 ford F150 would crank but won’t start. Changed fuel pump. Check fuse and it was good. Still no start. Let it set for a week and went out there and it started right up. So someone tell me what the problem is. It will run for couple weeks and same problem will happen again.

If an f150 turns over but doesn't start, the problem could be a fuel relay fuse. Another possibility is the fuel pump driver module.

Number 27 fuse was the problem. But can’t figure out why the owners manual says that it’s an extra fuse and not used. Anyone else run into this.

My wife’s friend was having this problem with her f150 so Isaid I would look at it for her. Before I went out to check it I googled for possible issues and it brought me here. After reading these posts I grabbed fuses on the way and the first thing I did was check fuse 27. One pole was burnt, put a new one in and started right up. Thanks guys!

#27 fuse for me as well, burned up 1 leg of the fuse. Swapped it and it started right up. Crazy thing is on my scanner it was showing a number 4 misfire. Once the fuse was swapped the check engine light went away along with the code.

2014 F150 STX Sport 4X4 5.0 V-8 with 120,000 miles. Just happened to me today. First EVER issue I've had with this truck (bought it brand new). Glad I googled the problem while waiting on AAA. Sure enough, it was Fuse #27, burnt on one leg. Just incase you're in the same spot I was in, it's a 20 Amp mini fuse, low profile. In the black fuse box, front and center, when you pop the hood. Luckily there was an advanced auto next to the gas station I was stuck at. You'll need $5 for the pack of fuses and some needle nose pliers. Easy fix!

2014 ford 150 when I try to turn my truck it won’t start it will crank. I will crank it again when a second time and then it will start without a problem. I had problem with the Fuel pump sensor before I fixed it no problems after that. Then about a year later it starts again so I looked at that sensor nothing wrong with it’s fine I looked at all my fuse there all good the starter is fine. I even looked at all my electrical stuff that’s all fine it’s not throwing a code or anything. So what’s the problem.

2014 F150 cranks but won't start, it even continued to crank when the key was released. After it stopped cranking I opened the engine compartment and disconnected the vacuum line next to the Throttle Body. Reattempted and successfully started then reconnected the vacuum line. No codes present drove it to the shop. They mentioned Anti-Theft system but couldn't duplicate the no start.

My 2014 F15 XLT will crank but intermittently will not start. There is no fuse in slot #27. Had it towed to a local mechanic and the purge valve was replaced but to no avail. Still having the same issue. Really at a loss at to where to turn next. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
