If all of the brake lights on Your 2012 Kia Sorento arent working, it could be a bad brake light switch. If some of them are still working, however, it could be caused by a bad fuse or burnt out bulbs. Some cars use the same lights for brakes and turn signals, so check Your user manual to see if this is the case for You. If it is, You may have a bad turn signal switch if Your third light is still working but the other two arent. In this case, when the turn signal switch is engaged, it will stop the brake light signal on the same side from working. A broken wire to or from the switch might also stop the other brake lights from working. The third brake light does not flash with turn signals in this case which is why a bad turn signal switch wont stop it from lighting up.
