The horn assembly in a 2018 Ford Explorer can be found under the front of the vehicle. The horn can be found under the bumper on the driver's side of the vehicle directly behind the headlight. If Your horn is having problems You will want to check the fuse and switch to it which are located in the cabin. If they are fine then You should check the wiring to the horn assembly. If the wires are loose then the horns will not work. If all of those things are fine then it is likely a failed horn. The horn has been known to fail in the past and is about $200 to replace if it is broken.

My horns were found directly under the hood latch up front. This is a 2018 Ford Explorer XLT. Horns were not working...I tapped them and now they work. Will likely have to replace them.

Locate the horns by sliding under the front of your suv. The ford explorer has high and low tone horns that are both under the driver's side headlight behind the front bumper.

Written answers are of little use since most people are poorly trained to write. Similarly, You Tube do it yourself videos are poorly produced with virtually nobody who knows how to created a functionally literate storyboard, amateurs who would never get nominated for an Academy award. A drawing or schemata would be infinitely more reliable. Nobody does those these days. Pity.
