The 2016 Jeep Cherokee power steering fluid location is in the power steering pump in the engine bay. The power steering fluid needs to be changed every 75,000 miles. Along with changing fluids, You will come across noises from steering parts. A faulty bearing will make a nasty sound. A loose bearing will become painful to the ear. Having great steering is key for changing lanes and moving about on the road. You will someday come across some issues though. The steering wheel can become stuck. It may turn to one side. Steering fluid can leak at one point. The steering pump may become loose and that will spell disaster for Your vehicle. The strut bearings might become bad. The rack mount can become faulty.

That’s smart Jerome but Jeep started making the Grand Cherokee models with an electronic power steering system that does not use any fluid hence no more reservoir needed. I looked everywhere for this answer and no one mentions it because it’s electrical now. It’s cooled down by the antifreeze coolant. There is no power steering fluid reservoir in some Grand Cherokee models. I have a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with an empty spot in the drivers side of the vehicle by the air filter.

I don't think you own Jeep Jerome and you shouldn't speak of things you don't know about. My 16' WK2 (GrandCherokee) 75th anniversary edition has electric power steering. Thus NO pump or reservoir in the engine bay.
