The indicator light shaped like a wrench in the 2010 Honda Accord means there is scheduled maintenance due. Most often it can be the 10,000 mile service interval which includes differential oil replacement, transfer case fluid replacement, oil and oil filter change, and tire rotation. The brakes, steering and suspension system should also be checked at this interval. At the 20,000 mile mark You should be checking the parking brake system, all hoses, all fluids, the exhauSTSystem, and the axle shaft. Drive belts need to be checked starting at 30,000 miles. Once You've hit 110,000 miles You'll need to replace the spark plugs, timing belt, and water pump. There should be a valve clearance adjustment at this time. You are also advised to check the cooling system.

The wrench icon on the 2010 Honda Accord is for the maintenance minder indicator. This light signal will come on when it is necessary to take your Accord in for scheduled service. The light will reset when the dealer resets it after performing service.
