The 2019 Toyota Highlander does not have an ECO mode button that You can use to turn it on or off. The Highlander rather has a light on the dash that will turn on when You are driving in a way that maximizes the fuel economy of the vehicle. If You see this light on at the dash all it means is You are not being too heavy with the throttle. It is not like the ECO modes in previous years where it would reduce power to the engine in order to save gasoline. Nowadays the ECU will control the power to the engine based on the conditions that You are driving in rather than the buttons that You press.

To turn off the eco mode in a 2019 toyota highlander press the eco button in the center console, the eco driving light will be on when driving in the eco driving zone.

Turn on the”power mode”In the dashboard screen, go to seetings, and scroll down .Turn On Power mode” this would add more gasoline intake , dor faster acceleration,removing the eco.Not big difference in my opinion, maybe if you need the 4 wheel lock for towing.then you would have more-power.,
