Eco mode on the Kia Forte 2018 makes it so that Your car will produce fewer emissions. You can tell that it is turned on when You see the word ECO lit up on the console, near the speedometer. To the left of the speedometer is the trip/odo button. Simply hold this for one second and eco mode will turn off. It is advised to use eco mode while casually driving, but if You are in rough terrain or weather then turn it off as You may need the extra power.

The kia forte 2018 will have a green button on the main console dash that is labeled eco, this button will turn on and off eco mode.
For the base model cars with no button to switch the kia vehicle from "eco mode" one solution is to briefly disconnect the car battery. Is there another way?
My forte doesn't a button to turn it on or off is it in the key?

For the 2018 Kia if you hold the trip odometer for a few seconds that turns the eco on and off.
