The 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan has remote starting as a standard feature. To use the remote start, push the lock button on the remote once, followed by the remote start button twice within 3 seconds. The turn signals will flash every time when the remote is pressed and the daytime running lights will come on when in remote start mode. While in remote start mode, the engine will run for about 10 minutes. This can be repeated one more time if needed, but then the ignition must be cycled on and off before remote starting again. To turn the engine off while in remote start mode press the start budding on the remote one time. To put the vehicle in standard operation, put the key in the ignition and push the brake pedal and the start button at the same time, this will keep the engine running
Not all 2019 Tiguans come with remote start. I would assume only the SEL and higher. I have a 2019 Tiguan SE and no remote start. Volkswagen wants around 650-700 for one. No thanks, I'll just be cold

Yes. It's the worst I've ever seen. Fifteen away doesn't help me. My 2012 Subaru worked from 300 yards or inside a building out of sight!
