The 2017 Chevy Malibu does have a remote start on all of its models. This works in two ways. The first is the key fob itself, which You can use to start the car, set the alarm, open the trunk, and beep the horn. This is all done with the buttons on the remote and will work from a fair distance. The other remote start option this gives You is the push to start option. This will allow You to start the car without having to insert the key into the ignition. As long as You have the fob on You when You get into the car then You can just push the start button dn the car will turn on.

The ls and lt models of 2017 chevy malibu come equipped with remote start, but the others do not.

Remote start is one of the unique features on some automobiles, it is not on all of the trim levels on the Malibu. It is optional on the LS and LT but, comes standard on the premier. With the LS and LT the consumer would need to purchase either Convenience Package 1 or 2 through the manufacturer. This is an additional $345 or $575 respectively. If buying used, check the features before purchasing to ensure that either the package was included or, the vehicle is the premier trim.
