The Nissan JUKE comes standard equipped with a timing chain in the gasoline powered engine. The diesel model, however, has a cambelt, or belt. This belt will need to be inspected and possibly replaced every 5 years, or 90,000 miles, whichever happens to occur first. The cost of a new cambelt is between $120 and $245, on average.
