The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class uses synthetic oil. The 2.0l 4 -cylinder engine useS5w-40 viscosity and holdS7.4 quarts on the base model. The 4matic useS6.9 quarts of oil. It is recommended to change Your oil every 7,500 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. You can extend Your engine life, get better gas mileage, and have better performance if You change Your oil regularly. Routine oil and filter changes help remove particles and sludge from the engine. If the oil isn't changed, Your vehicle's engine will start to have a lot of problems.Over time the oil will become thinner, abrasive, and will start to wear down on vital engine parts. Synthetic oil is by far better for performance. It protects the engine due to lower levels of friction.

Some Mercedes GLC 300 4 matics use 0/20 synthetic oil. Should say right on your filler cap.
