The type of oil that You should use in a 2019 Jeep Wrangler will depend on the engine. For the 2.0-liter engine, use Mopar API SN PLUS Certified SAE 5W-30 Full Synthetic Engine Oil or an equivalent that meets the requirements of FCA Material Standard MS-13340. The 3.6-liter uses Mopar SAE 0W-20 engine oil or an equivalent approved to FCA Material Standard MS6395 such as Pennzoil or Shell Helix. Both engines have a capacity of 5 quarts including the filter. The Wrangler has an oil change indicator system that monitors the engine for the number of revolutions, driving conditions and other factors to determine the best time to have the oil changed. Why these paRameters have been met, the Oil Change Required message will be displayed on the instrument cluster display.

The recommended oil type for a 2019 Jeep Wrangler is synthetic oil. The 2.0L 4 -cylinder turbo runs best on SAE 5W-30, and holds 5 quarts of oil. The 3.6L V6 engine prefers SAE 0W-20 and can hold 5 quarts.
