Red fast broke radio broke plugin.
My 4runner is a great SUV. The radio in it restarts by itself, and it can be so annoying sometimes. Plus the charger plugin does not work once so ever. But the good things about it is that it is my favorite color red also it is really fast for a SUV. I love this car so much.

Love my 4runner except the slanted cargo area!!
I absolutely love my 4runner. It is sporty and also functional for a mom of three, like myself. I have the 3rd row seating which is perfect when the whole family needs to pile into one vehicle. My biggest complaint about my 4runner is the fact that when my 3rd row seating is down, anything that is placed in the cargo area, is shifted back to the back hatch during transit. Every time I get groceries and put them in the back, when I open the back hatch to unload, I have to do it extremely slowly and something always falls out. I cannot tell you how many glass jars/bottles have been broken because of that... I know there are cargo nets/mats that can help but that is such a pain.

I enjoy the luxury features; leather seats, the sunroof, and running boards.
I love my 4runner, I feel safe, in control, comfortable. It is a secure and smoother drive. I enjoy going off-roading with my capabilities. I like that I have the luxury features of the sunroof, running boards, and leather seats. When people are in my car they say the back is spacious and comfortable as well. My dog used to get car sick in my previous vehicle, but in my 4runner she seems more at ease and always hangs her head out the window. Definitely love my Toyota.

All around a great vehicle.
This SUV is a great reliable good looking vehicle. Mine has 114000 miles on it and I have not had one single issue. I have always owned Toyota 4runners. And they never disappoint. The. Gas mileage is incredible. Especially for being a 4 wheel drive. This SUV does awesome in any kind of weather. It runs nice and quite. Just everything is perfect about it.
accountCircle Boog M
It is four wheel drive and a beast. The gas mileage is pretty good for such a big vehicle.
I love my truck. My favorite thing is four wheeling. It's a little bit hard for me to get into so I had to put some Step Boards on it.

The amount of space and how convenient it is.
4runner runs smooth and it is a great family car. We use it to travel with the kids with their sports. Very big inside and spacious.
accountCircle Kristen R
It drives extremely well and gets fairly good gas mileage for its age. It is also a beast when handling snow and water.
I love how safe I feel driving it with my two kids. I also love that it is a flexible SUV. The only downfall would be not having a third row.

The best vehicle I have ever owned.
Very comfortable, great on gas. The interior is very nice. The car is liable and very stylish, by far my favorite vehicle to ever own. I feel like it would go forever and I am very confident about this car not breaking down. If you are looking for an SUV I would definitely recommend one.

Likes and dislikes of a Toyota 4runner.
Dislikes-feels like a tin can and bell and whistles are minimal. Gas mileage is poor, drives like a truck, middle drink area is small unable to hold drinks only. Cannot lock the car by the handle must use key fob. Like- reliable, large back seat, comfort front seats with seat warmers, keyless entry, maintenance warning light.
accountCircle Edith H
My vehicle is very roomy, the air/ heat works tremendously well.
My vehicle has over 200,000 miles on it so it is beginning to make noises. Once getting the engine up so far, the front in sometimes will shake and it does tend to overheat sometimes. It has been a well vehicle but it is getting worn out. It is time for a new vehicle.
accountCircle Michael G
It is a very reliable vehicle.
It is a nice vehicle. Decent amount of space but nothing overly special about it. Id buy it again if needed.

My thought about the car I purchase. Be aware before by any car.
It's too small for 4 passengers. The engine is not powerful. Its design not perfect. My family members hate the design of it. I want a powerful car but after buying this I made a terrible mistake. So I recommended a better car not this one. People should buy a car after checking it properly.

It is a gas hog with a large tank.
I like the size. I hate the low gas mileage. I hate the large size side view mirrors. I like the sunroof. I like the large trunk space.

2014 toyota 4runner pros and cons.
My toyota 4runner has both pros and cons.On the positive side it has comfortable adjustable seating, plenty of interior room to seat 5, good gas mileage, reasonably priced, sporty looking exterior, bluetooth connectivity and charging ports, nice size display screen and good radio. The cons include somewhat noisy engine and controls on the steering column are a little hard to see for short people like me—i have to lean forward and peer over steering wheel to see.

Dependable and reliable for everyone.
I have not had any problems other than possibly an electrical shortage in the outlets. Also my front two doors will not lock or unlock when hitting the unlock/lock key. Other than that it does great. It is very comfortable and I have enjoyed it for the last 5 years!

Toyota 4runner is the best for all people.
In an automotive world that caters to crossovers, the Toyota 4runner is something of throwback with it is rugged body on frame construction. The Toyota 4runner SUV is a purebred in a dying breed. It is a mid size SUV with body and seating for up to seven. Toyota shipped all trucks from japan as cab and chassis in order to avoid the 25% assembled truck customs tax.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Krista K.

The most dependable low maintenance vehicle I have ever owned. Slender body style and comfortable to drive and for passengers. Plenty of cargo room. With Toyota I feel that I will get the most bang for my buck and the should easily be able to keep the truck for a 10 year period without any major issues.

likeFilled Nicole K.

Very few problems over the last 6 years. Very good mileage for a large SUV. Very safe and drives well in the city and highway. Many options for different price points. Has held its value very well. Maintenance is easy.

likeFilled Chrystal K.

It is a tough truck it is been banged up a lot but it is still going, it is got low mileage and I know it is going to stay on the road forever. It is got a lot of accessories and plenty of room to haul cargo pets and family.

The 2014 Toyota 4runner sr5 is very spacious. I love the technology it provides the driver and passengers. The touch screen/backup camera is big. It feels safe driving it. It is very comfortable. I have taken it on several road trips and never wanted for anything from it. It is got plenty of pep and brakes very well.

likeFilled Dunia A.

The pros are: it's very spacey, nice trunk can hold many objects. You can switch the gears if it's snowing or too rainy to prevent slipping of the wheels. You can also fold the back seats to create more free space.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Krista K.

The Toyota 4runner does not get ideal gas mileage but I feel that the pros out weight the cons as far as that is concerned. Toyota vehicles and parts are expensive; however this has been a low maintenance vehicle thus far.

dislikeFilled Nicole K.

None. I have never had any major issues with the vehicle. It is a larger car so inexperienced drivers might struggle with it at first but it is easy to drive and park. I wish there were blind spot detectors on the side mirrors but that is the only addition I wish it had.

dislikeFilled Chrystal K.

I wish it had a little bit better technology the Bluetooth is hard to connect. It is a very tall and does not come equipped with running boards I had to have them installed aftermarket it is very tall and does not come equipped with running boards I had to have them installed aftermarket.

dislikeFilled Alex P.

If any it would be maintenance issues. There has been two factory recalls. There is an issue of traction control anytime there is a mist on the ground. The back tires seem to fishtail every now and then in barely wet conditions.

dislikeFilled Dunia A.

I don't find any cons for my vehicle, I personally think it's a great car for a family. Spacey and lots of leg space. Ac and heating works well, you can adjust everything. It's honestly great. I would recommend this car.

It is amazing! This is the 3rd 4runner that I have owned in a row. Durable, dependable, solidly built. Plenty of room for the 5 of us, our dog, and luggage. Great ride on the highway.

How Reliable Is The 2014 Toyota 4Runner?

The only problems with this vehicle are that it takes a lot of power to get going and a lot of power to stop.
Keiran W.
I have had no mechanical issues whatsoever. They are typically very durable cars as long as the owner is responsible.
Patrick K.
We haven't encountered and problems. Had the vehicle for two years and it has been a breeze. It is able to haul a good bit and has never left us stranded

So far, just routine maintenance. It is very reliable and have encountered any major repairs. Not even cosmetic repairs have been necessary.
Layne R.
None whatsoever. Just the price tag. I plan on driving this vehicle 300k+ miles. Toyotas are built to last.
Mike F.

Is The 2014 Toyota 4Runner A Good Value?

My mother got this vehicle for 26,000 dollars which is not too bad for a newer model though it is used.
Keiran W.
All Toyota trucks and SUVs are a bit more expensive than their counterparts, but I believe it is worth the price.
Patrick K.
Price could be better we probably owe more in our 4runner than what it is worth but it hasn't given us trouble since we've purchased, so it is a decent value
Nita P.
I spend less than $200 in gasoline. I spend an average of $100 every three months for oil changes, oil filters, and fluid top offs.
Valentine H.
Around $38,000. The price tag was more than I wanted to pay, but I know I got a great value. I know that it will far outlast the loan period.
