We have this terrain 6 months. Very comfortable we upgraded to leather. Love the heat control it has back control which is great. Love the color first year for it silver metallic. The backup camera needs to better because you cannot see out of it at night because of the backup lights.

Dependable and reliable SUV.

Loving the terrain, family SUV!
Only thing sometimes the screen turns off on its own. It drives very smooth. I love that it is very comfortable due to having children. The OnStar service is great and I love that I can turn on and off remotely. Other than that there are no issues with the vehicle.

GMC terrain 2020 - a must buy!
I just recently purchased a 2020 GMC terrain Denali. I have been driving it for about two months now, and I love it! The interior leather seats (also heated!) Are comfortable and practical. I have had no issues thus far with any part of the car- it runs smoothly and the engine is great!

I love that it has a backup camera and sensors when other cares are near.
I like all the cool features the car has like back up camera, heated seats, heated steering wheel. I like that it has warning features when you are getting too close to other cars or veering off your late. I do not like that the cargo area is too small.

Great overall SUV for a small family.
The terrain is great for people who want the SUV feel. When you drop the back seats it opens up a lot and can fit a lot of cargo. Or for me I can put my large mountain bike in with no problem. Great if you only have 2 kids drive is smooth. I just don't like the way the car shuts off when paused at the light or the assisted brake if you're too close to a car it will slam on the brakes even if you're starting to break. Other than that it is a great overall car.

My vehicle is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone.
It performs very well so far, I like how it drives in the snow as it is all wheel drive. However, I have notice the transmission shifting a lot but other than that it is greats and great on gas too. If you are looking for something cheaper and love the arcadia then this is the way to go. It is has all the right looks and seats 5 comfortably.

Accessories are great cosmetically it looks nice.
In inclement weather conditions, truck skids sometimes. It is also great on gas mileage like a car would be. It is a smooth ride, you cannot feel all the rocks in the road. I bought it in June and it is almost time for an oil change. Keeping in mind how much I drive I think that is great timing.

I would have liked to have the side mirror feature that lights up people that are in your blind spot. I wish I had Sirius radio. All the other features are great. Love the heated seats, power features and armrest. The car is very sturdy and has a smooth ride. Seats are very comfortable. Unsure how or if you can make a hands free phone call. Speakers have a great sound. Backing up camera is not very clear. Kind of looks fuzzy. Does not have a hd view.

A great all around family vehicle.
Comfortable, roomy with lots of storage and the screen is very user friendly. The seats have a wide range of movement and fold down easily for storage. It also accelerates smoothly and is safe on bad weather days like rain and snow. Also has great gas mileage.

I love the panoramic sunroof and the individualized heating and cooling.
I love my car. The only issue I have had so far is that the navigation chip was not included with my package and I was not aware of that. Other than that, I love my car and how smooth it rides and I love the color! I love that my car has heated seats and a panoramic sunroof.

My GMC terrain and what I think of it thus far.
Gets good gas mileage. 22-24 mpg. Only issue is the plastic around the rim wheels discolored. Other than that car is pretty good. Happy with purchase. I went with a lease this time instead of purchase and so far had been good to me. Dealer experience was good they really made it quick and simple. Car fits a lot of people and storage in trunk for a family of 3.

What do you do when you've bought a LEMON?
I bought the 2020 Terrian that GM had sent for the dealership use in October. The mileage on if was 2200. Five days after my purchase I heard a loud pop, like being hit by a rock sounds. Less than half mile later a loud rattling noise started from underneath the hood. I took it back to the dealership the next day and was told they could find nothing wrong. Same thing again, noise more constant; mechanic shop said they could not hear anything. Next trip they thought it might be something like an acorn had gotten into a fan motor. Ordered and replaced the fan motor. Same racket. Back to the dealership but this time we had recorded the sound they could not hear. This time they said an engineer at GM though it sounded like the left back seat headrest was rattling in its holder. Excuse me.... They took head rest out of holder and it's laying in the back floor board while cylinders are being ordered. This was almost 3 weeks ago - no call yet from dealership that parts to repair a sound that's definitely from the dashboard/motor area is here. Meanwhile, the rattling is still ongoing but keep in mind the head rest is in the floorboard so it should not be rattling, should it? While it does not rattle constantly it rattles enough. We've been recording it while we wait for parts. If the "parts" ever come this will be the 5th trip back to fix this problem. This is the worst experience I've every had with a vehicle. I had a 2013 Terrain and it was a joy to drive. This one is a LEMON that the dealership says they can't do/won't do anything about except keep dragging their heels.

Interior. Comfortability. Cons - issue with auto start.
Love it so far. Front seat is extremely comfortable and I love leather interior. It handles really nicely and the back up camera really helps. I love how wide it is on the road but that is a personal preference. If I had to pick an issue - id say not being able to set the temperature of your car when you auto start.

My favorite car I have ever been in.
My car has very good performance. It drives steadily and smoothly, the road noise is not very loud, and the gas mileage is anywhere from 20 to 25 miles a gallon. I had to get used to not having a gearshift and it being replaced with buttons, as well as the shining auto stopping to save gas. But once I got used to those, I cannot imagine myself driving anything else.

The perfect vehicle for a smaller single woman.
This is the perfect vehicle for my size and needs. It is comfortable enough to fit 2 adults, a large dog, and all of our camping gear. It has a lot of interior features to make you comfortable including very adjustable seats (lumbar and neck support), heated seats and steering wheel, great radio. The thing I hate most about the vehicle are the hankook tires that came on it. I purchased wheel and tire insurance and had I not, I would have immediately put different tires on it.

It is a great family car, and there is enough room for everything we need.
I love my car, but I just wish the screen was a little bigger. I like that it has apple play but I wish it would not have to be connected by the USB and could just automatically have the apple play feature with Bluetooth. I love that it is a SUV but not too big or small, it has just enough room for my kids in the back seat. Also the trunk is spacious and I am able to fit everything I need in back.

2020 GMC terrain - functionality and style all in one.
I have yet to experience any problems with my vehicle. Overall performance is amazing for a 4-cylinder vehicle. The seats are comfortable for very long drives and there is plenty of space in the back seat for 3 children car seats. The trunk space is a little smaller than my previous vehicle but it is still very roomy and fit two full size strollers or just have plenty of space for luggage on road trips. The features I love the remote start, and remote open and close for the lift gate.

The vehicle is amazing except I have had issues with rattling sounds on the drive side above the door window. They still cannot figure out how to fix it. Other than that I love the trunk space and the interior is very high quality and laid out nicely.

Turbo problem and dealer inability to fix
2020 SLT AWD - Really like my Terrain overall. Safety features, AWD and driver information center. Ride is good. Acceleration OK when the turbo is working. Problem is my check engine light came on 3 months in. Ten months later, not sure if it’s fixed. First service by dealer “We found no codes” Car running fine though even though engine light back on. Not driving f that much due to pandemic so I don’t rush back to the dealer.Brought it back 3 months later, diagnosis: needs a new catalytic converter which are on back order. Finally get the cat converter replaced and two days later I get a “low engine power” warning light. The turbo is not working and acceleration is slow. Dealer says turbo pressure lines leaking so they are replaced Dricing off the lot I get the same low engine power warning, the dealer replaces turbo pressure sensors. Same thing happens. Nex the dealer replaces the entire turbo. Thanks GM. I go on a road trip for the Christmas holiday to see my family at a super spreader event. 300 miles into it , another low engine power warning message, the turbo is not working. The problem code indicates “over-pressure “ and the dealer replaces another turbo pressure sensor. The car ran well even with the check engine light on until the dealer replaces the catalytic converter. The dealer says there is no connection. I call GM customer service give them my information and account of problems. GM call back saying the dealer never heard of me. Well. GM called the dealer’s other location in this state 250 miles from my dealer. I really doubt replacing sensors again will be the fix. So my rating is 5 for vehicle and 0 for these problems and dealer technical abilities - make it a 3.

2020 GMC terrain is my dream car!
The car is so comfortable with the leather heated seats and heated steering wheel! The air conditioning works wonderfully too in the summer! There is a sleek wooden finish in the interior as well that makes the car feel really luxurious. The touchless entry for the trunk is so convenient too!

My terrain is such a nice smooth riding car. The trim and inside is so nice it has the latest features and I love it. The seats are really comfortable and is such a treasure to take on a trip. I picked silver for the outside and black for the inside. It does not show dirt very well.

Love it and cannot wait to keep driving it!
Only problem I have faced is the sunroof not opening correctly. You can hear the motor engaging but the roof wouldn't move. Features I enjoy are the heated seats and steering wheel. Apple play connectivity. Trunk space is perfect for a weekend of camping. I would like the backup camera to have a better light. It can be difficult to see in the dark sometimes.

Getting my car back fixed and fixed right!
Have a 2020 Terrain - 5 months ago bought brand new off the showroom floor/parked it for the hot summers in AZ - went to driveit with 500 miles on it - air conditioner not working. Made appt with dealer bought it from - so far have had it 5 days and either they have not bothered to look at it -- was told they are very busy - or they simply don't know what is wrong with it. 2020 terrain. A great car but underpowered.
My terrain is beautiful. It has black wheels and black trim. People stop and stare. It is a beautiful car. The interior is comfortable. The infotainment system has great features and is easy to control safely. The performance is not good. The car is underpowered for it is size. It does not bother me most of the time but it would be nice if it had more oomf. Overall, great car.But spring for the bigger engine.

First time GMC terrain owner.
I love my terrain. It gets superb gas mileage, and it runs beautifully. The only thing I had to get used to was when the car sits like at a light, the car temporarily turns off, then it starts again. The GMC app that I downloaded is a wonderful tool. I can start or lock my car remotely through the app. I also receive emails with updated service information on my car like if the tires need air or if I need to change oil. My terrain is the first SUV I have owned. I have been able to carry large loads since the seats lie down making a very large storage area in the back. Another feature I have appreciated are the cameras. I can see all sides when I am backing out. Moreover, it is such a sharp looking car. I would recommend this car to anyone.

I love my GMC terrain. I have the most basic package you can get, but yet it still provides a luxury experience for a decent price. I love that it comes with a snow mode, a backup camera, and lane veering notifications. The car is the perfect sized crossover and has great trunk space. Very comfortable and quiet ride. Adjustable leather seating. Lots of great safety features including drivers assistance, lane indicators and warnings if you are following too closely. Automatic headlights are a major benefit. Quality sound system with satellite radio. Seats easily fold down for hauling. The blacked out exterior is gorgeously done along with a roof rack!
My car has a sunroof, heated seats, self closing trunk, lane detectors, auto breaking before your reaction time, and much more. This car is the perfect size and allows a comfortable ride for everyone! The details on the outside really make it come together as it is all blacked out. Mechanical issues
2020 GMC Terrain Denali Its very comfortable and love the car itself but have issues with it already and have only had it 2 weeks. It was new and my service engine soon light came on while on my way here to Florida went off after a few minutes, the navigation stop reading the card so isn't working, and the passenger door window is not going up as it should and has a clicking noise. I have a service appointment as soon as i return to Tennessee. Its a nice looking car but not satisfied with because of mechanical issues.

Great SUV with only one problem.
The car is beautiful. People stop and stare. It is comfortable and has a great technology package. There is plenty of space for carrying things. The fuel economy is decent for a small SUV. The performance is the only downside. The 1.5 liter engine kind of plods down the road. It is adequate but not a fun driving experience.

My GMC terrain is the nicest vehicle I have owned to date. It is affordable, dependable transportation, yet it also feels like a luxury vehicle. It provides both heated and cooled seats in the front and back seats. The sunroof goes all the way to the back of the vehicle which is super cool.

GMC terrain is a great vehicle!
I love the size of this SUV. We had a much larger vehicle and traded it in for a smaller one. I love the wheels on this model. They are black and they make the vehicle look very nice. We have a feature of the vehicle shutting down at a stop light to conserve gas energy and we love that feature. It is a push button control for driving, parking, etc. This took a little time to get used to but once you learn to stop reaching for the gear shift, all is good. We love how we can connect our phones with the car so that allows you to have 'hands-free' calling. It also has a full roof skylight which is really fabulous. You can push the seats down by a control in the back which is really nice.

Great vehicle for a great price.
Great smaller SUV. Ours came with the GMC floor liners and I love them. I also love the great gas mileage it gets. We are a family of 4 and fit comfortably in the car. The back is big enough for all of my boys baseball gear and chairs. It is a great vehicle. The only thing I do not like is the back seat ventilation. There are only 2 small vents that vent the back seat. During the summer especially, it takes a while for the back to cool off.

Great family vehicle for tall people.
I really love this car. It is a great size for my family of four. It was important that my 6’3” husband was able to fit with his height and broad shoulders and he finds it more comfortable than a Toyota highlander. The one downside is it tends to not have great traction when starting to move from a stop on wet pavement. I feel like my wheels spin.

GMC terrain 2020 is a great starter SUV.
The radio gets an occasional static sound when my phone is plugged into the port. Great on gas! Wish it had a sunroof. No switch for the lights in the back. The seats are luxury looking and comfortable. The cloth heated seats are great! The lights have an automatic sensor that will automatically turn you high beams on/off. That was great!

I have had the vehicle for about a year now and have not had any problems. I love that the gear shift is buttons on the dash. The ac and heat work quickly. Most importantly it is amazing on gas, I travel every day to and from work and I only get gas once every week and a half and it typically costs me less than $30.

The GMC terrain drives itself!
About two months ago I switched from a sport sedan to the GMC terrain. The exterior style with the factory dipped black rims looked very attractive. I wasn't thrilled about giving up my sports car but the look of this SUV gave me the “look” I was after. This car is extremely comfortable. It is a very nice size for an SUV. The trunk is large and fits all of my babies needs as well as some groceries as well. I do have to say that I had to play car seat covers over my seats because the interior seems to be wearing quickly. I would also like it if the car came with a little bit more speed. The drive is smooth and the lane assist feature really impressed me. The car basically drives itself!

I love the compact size, but you do not realize how compact it really is until you go on your first vacation. I do love the gas mileage and how it rides, as well as the exterior looks of the vehicle. If I had to purchase from this car maker again, I'd go with the bigger sized vehicle like the acadia.

Pros: Comfortable,very good gas mileage. Loads of safety features. Love the 360 surround vision. Rides very well, good performance. Handles good. Everything works very well right now. Like the hands-free hatch access. Wish list: Heads up display. Hooks in the cargo area. Cons: No pistons to help hold the hood open. Has an old time support arm. Have not seen a vehicle with that in many years. No hooks for hanging bags in the cargo area, only a net, if you got one with the vehicle. Wish the front visors had the side extenders that many others do. Memory seats take a while to figure out. There are better, easier systems.

Panoramic sunroof is a very neat feature to this car! Very nice for when camping.
Lots of room. Dual temp control. Seats set flush with the floor when laid down for storage. Heated seats work fast and get very warm. Hill mode for when going down steep inclines seems to work well gear when switched. Only complaint is about the location of the controls on the console you have to remove your eyes from the road to test the controls while driving. What I find to be interesting would be the lane assist.
The performance of the vehicle is amazing. It is also great on gas, do not have to fill often unless driving a lot or long distances. The comfort is great as well, sometimes a little too comfy. Having the next level up from the base model was a must, it has everything I need as a driver, I do not need all the extras, but the heated seats and steaming wheel were something I needed to have.

2020 GMC terrain review from satisfied customer.
Great on gas!! Has a lot of features (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, satellite radio, rear camera, Alexa voice activated, heated seats and steering wheel, parks itself). Rides smooth. Lots of safety features. Comes with OnStar. Automatic trunk. Remote start vehicle. It is an awesome vehicle!!

I love my GMC terrain! It is both reliable and comfortable.
This vehicle is very reliable. It contains many special features including a sunroof and moonroof, heated seats and steering wheel, apple CarPlay, and backup camera. It will notify me if anyone is in my blind spot or walking/driving when I am backing up.

GMC terrain - a great mid-size SUV!
I love my GMC terrain! It is the perfect size for me. It is great in the snow. Gas mileage is also fantastic. I love this care so much that this is my third terrain! I am single with no children but in the event I am driving with family or friends there is plenty of room and comfort for 5 people.

Good overall car with no real complaints. Good looking design.
Performance is generally good across all terrains. Very reliable and a very comfortable car with breathing space for passengers. Dashboard is great for smartphones. Dashboard allows for c-charging compatibility which I do not see with new vehicles. Car has decent gas performance and good air controls.

My SUV is very roomy, great gas mileage, it is fully loaded. The truck has a very good paint job and it handles very well on the road. I have always heard good things about GMC cars and truck, and I decided to test drive the terrain and fell in love with how it handles the road, some many digital benefits double sunroof. Plus they had a great deal going with zero percent interest rate. So I felt that I got a great vehicle at a great price.

Large enough to handle everything I need with good mileage.
Good performance holds the road good, gas mileage is not bad for 4 wheel drive, comfortable to drive with good safety features, has a good sound system and has onstar for safety, have not had any issues with it yet, I would purchase this vehicle again.

A good car for anyone looking into the midsize SUV.
I have had no issues whatsoever. I was side swiped and lost a side view mirror and it was replaced at the dealership with no hiccups. It drives smooth and does very well in terms of mpg. Would recommend this vehicle to others. It is the perfect size for travel and has good cargo space.

I like the safety features, especially the adaptive cruise control. The car is easy to drive and is very quiet. It is easy to get into and out of. The gas mileage is very good in the city. I haven't used it enough in the highways to see how that mileage is,

GMC terrain is a definite winner.
I have had no problems so far. I like the size. I also like the features like I am able to lay the seats down by pulling levers in the back and not have to go to the back seats. I like that I am able to hook up my phone and use apple play to play music and use GPS. I also like the heated seats.

2020 GMC terrain affordable luxury.
Reliable, comfortable. We love that we can fit 2 car seats and a stroller comfortably in the backseat. Accelerates quickly. Love the lane assist and too close warnings. Car feels much more expensive than it actually was. Gas mileage is a plus and we've had no issues thus far.

Classy, reliable, and comfortable.
My 2020 GMC terrain is so comfortable to drive! I love all of the great features it has. Some of my favorite features are the backup camera, Bluetooth, remote starter, keyless entry, and heated seats. So far I haven't had any problems or been unhappy with anything in this vehicle.

Great car! I love everything about it.
I have no problems with my vehicle. I have had it for about 6 months now and I love every second of it. The gas mileage is amazing. It costs about 15-20 dollars just to fill up the tank here in Texas. It has lane assist that keeps you in the lanes while driving.

Amazing cruise control functions and key fob functions.
I love the cruise control function. It stops or slows down your car if someone pulls out in front of you or if you get behind someone. It also has push button start and I can open and close the back with the key fob button. Very roomy and you can put down the back seat for hauling large items.

It is the elevation edition which means it has black rims and badging.
My car is very comfortable. It handles well in all types of weather. The interior is very spacious and quiet. I feel very safe driving it. I have only had it for 1 month but I am really enjoying it so far. I wish that it had more features such has blind spot and rear cross path detection but it has a power liftgate which is very helpful.

Extremely reliable, comfortable, so many features- including alerts when you get close to another car, close to the lines on the road. Very roomy- perfect for a car seat in the back. Heated seats, ac cools down the entire car- the remote can start the vehicle! I love this vehicle!

2020 GMC terrain - style for the 21st century.
I love the style of my terrain. The black wheels with the silver color really turns heads. The vehicle has just enough power for my needs and gets excellent gas mileage for a small SUV. It is comfortable and has enough room for my entire family. The infotainment system is easy to use and intuitive.

Terrain is perfect for a smaller family!
I went from an older truck to my 2020 terrain - it's taking me some getting used to. I do love how it rides, it is more practical for our family of four and the standard features are great. The one thing I am not too fond of is the auto stop, I wish there was a way to turn that off, sometimes I feel as if I am stalling out at a red light, but over the last couple months I have gotten used to it.

2020 GMC terrain. The best SUV ever made.
It's a nice medium size SUV. I have it in the color red. I love the led headlights. Its has backup camera, auto start, navigation and seat warmers, which I love for the winter. The trunk is huge fits a lot of things. The back side are spacious and the center seat has a console to put drinks.

2020 GMC terrain: gm's best kept secret!
The vehicle rides great, has a lot of amazing features, and I love that it is AWD. There are a lot of color choices, trim options, and I love the apple carplay and the OnStar. I have had a terrain before and loved it so much that I went ahead and leased another one. It makes driving more of a leisure activity and less of a chore. The speakers are amazing and really tie the whole thing together. Plus the all weather floor mats are great because I love in an area where there are a lot of pine needles and they are impossible to vacuum out traditional floor mats, so the all weather mats are really a time saver. Plus I have a 2.0l turbo engine which makes getting onto the highway a breeze, and pulling out of parking lots as well (it is the worst when you try to accelerate and the car does not move fast enough).

A road trippers dream vehicle.
I absolutely love this SUV. Its large enough for our family. With plenty of trunk space for groceries, luggage, road trip supplies... Whatever we need. The seats are comfortable and spacious. It is a reliable vehicle with no issues thus far. Always offering a smooth ride. The back up cam and lane assist are just added perks. I get decent gas mileage as well!

I really like that the driver seat vibrates when you are approaching a hazard.
My 2020 GMC terrain the best car I have ever purchased, in fact, this is my second time purchasing this car. It has great gas mileage, amazing safety features, and I feel luxurious while driving an affordable car. Black GMC terrain sle. Chrome wheels and v4 engine.
The only problem I had was a recall on navigation and electrical internal issues. Otherwise I have had no problems with this car. I like how the seats are power adjusted and you can push forward the driver seat to have more support on your back. I also love the heated seats.

The help you drive by helping with turns and staying in lanes. Best option.
It drives smooth and I love the fact that it has the option where the SUV can help drive itself. If you get too close to another vehicle it will beep. It is not to big but not to small. It is very good on gas, which helps with long car rides and trips out of town.

I love everything about this car. Nothing I can think of to complain about. All the high tech features, the smooth ride and it looks so nice. The push button fears take some getting use to but it is awesome. If you get one get the top model it is worth it.

Smooth and comfortable. Drives with ease.
I love my vehicle. I have had no problems so far with my vehicle. The gas tank door does look a little bent but that can just be because I keep it parked in a parking lot. It is a smooth and comfortable ride. I have plenty of room within the cargo area and it will hold anything I put in it.

2020 GMC terrain Denali drives like a dream!
I love this car because it has the perfect amount of space and it drives so smooth. The Denali features are very nice. The massive sunroof in this car is also amazing and the sound system quality in the car is spectacular. I highly recommend for small families and teens going off to college or involved in sports!!

GMC basic for the high price tag.
Comfort could be better for price. Heated seats should be standard. As well as mirror sensors, backing up sensor. One major problem is the safety stop, it stops if you get too close and it sends you into the steering wheel which is really more unsafe than breaking yourself.

It is a good mid-sized SUV with a lot of bells and whistles for the sle version.
I haven't experienced any issues. The only thing I do not like about the car is the brake sensor when driving. If you get too close to another car, the GMC terrain jams on the brakes by itself. The interior of the car is really nice and it is incredibly comfortable.

Buying a truck in 2020 is pretty nice.
My car is everything that I wanted when it comes to performance, reliability, and comfort. The only thing that I honestly wish was changed about it is how I have to go about changing gears. This is an automatic car and in order to reverse, and switch between other gears, I need to press various buttons that I honestly fear will get hit by something, changing the gears when I do not want to.

GMC terrain is high tech and safe for the family.
The GMC terrain is a nice car. It drives smoothly and has many safety features. The back seat is roomy enough for two teenage boys and the cargo area is roomy enough to fit all sorts of sporting equipment. I wish it had cup holders in the front passenger door but other than that I love it.
