Best vehicle I have had and a long time.
I got it in February 2020 and loved it on sight. It gets me where I need to go day in a day out. It seats 5 people comfortably. Its awesome on gas. I can ride on 30 dollars worth of gas for at least a week in a half. The ac and heat works wonders. I love this vehicle.

I enjoy the gray leather and red accents on the interior.
It is great! No mechanical issues, live the feel and how it drives. It is sturdy enough to haul lumber, but girly enough to shop around town. I have had it for years and have no immediate plans of making a vehicle change. I liked this over other similar SUVs I test drove.

GMC terrain review for 2011 sle.
Performs extremely well. Have only ever had a problem with a sensor for the ac. The car drives and performs exceptionally well. Very comfortable for long car drives. Have driven mine across the country with no problems and would do it again without a doubt.

AVOID the Terrain
Absolutely Avoid even considering the Terrain. Let me just say I am absolutely disappointed with GMC and will Never purchase another vehicle from them again. GMC is well aware of All the problems with the Terrain and have Not in anyway helped the consumers..You get stuck with a useless vehicle. I purchased a 2011 terrain and within 6 months it needed a new transmission and now a year and a half later it now needs an engine. I should of been more diligent in doing research on this vehicle because sure enough all the reviews I now read are all the same problems along with excessive oil problems. Junk vehicle and GMC is all about the money, not making things right with all the consumers who bought these vehicles..

Very dependable SUV with large trunk area.
I like that it gets good gas mileage and is very reliable vehicle in the summer months. I do not like that fact that for a SUV it does not get very good traction or handle well on snowy ice covered roads. I like that it has a big truck area and that it can haul bigger items than you would expect.

Overall a great driving vehicle.
I love the gas mileage. It lacks power on inclines. It has a nice ride. Overall a good car. It handles well in snow with front wheel drive. The remote start is an awesome feature. I really love the heated seats in winter. The sun roof is also very nice to have.

2011 GMC performance review.
Still running well, needs oil change, new back window wiper and seats shampooed. Other than that everything is fine. Has great amount of room and the alignment is up to par. The reliability of it is perfect in my opinion knowing that it's 11 years old well take care of. Has OnStar and XM.Radio.

Great family car for traveling long distance!
I love the amount of room in this vehicle! I have two small kids and both car seats fit comfortably. It also has plenty of room in the back for a double stroller! This is a great vehicle for families! The gas mileage is great for the amount of car you are getting. Would recommend.

An SUV worth taking a look at.
This is a good SUV but once it hit 120,000 miles it began having many mechanical issues. It is comfortable to ride in and gas mileage is good. It has decent power and moves well in traffic. I especially like the electrical features that were included- windows, seats, etc. The cruise control is a nice added feature that is almost a necessity as it is easy to find yourself going faster than you had planned.

I have had no problems, performs great and very comfortable. Drives like a car. I have heated seats, moonroof, and automatic start. I drive this on long trips.

Very nice vehicle for the money!
I really love the chrome all throughout, the red lighting, the automatic door on the back, heated seats, remote start, backup camera on the rear view mirror and just the overall look of the vehicle. It is front wheel drive and rides very smoothly. There are a few leaks but I believe it is from the sunroof. This SUV is everything I wanted and more!

Does not have Bluetooth and short on power and pickup
It's not a truck, it doesn't get the fuel mileage I would have expected from a four cylinder. Not much power. Otherwise, I like it

GMC terrain, loving the car!
This vehicle is very spacious, I love that it has a rear camera it is easy for me to see when I try parallel parking. Very easy to drive. It has satellite radio, and OnStar which you'll have to subscribe too. Love interior color on this vehicle. Very easy to clean.

Safety is the most important.
It drives smoothly but the acceleration is very slow. I do love the leather seat but it burns so much gas.

My car is very nice a ride smooth and it fits five people I have a large trunk clean your space between seats for my lifestyle it is very hard to keep up with the maintenance because it's expensive. But personally I love GMC and Chevy. There is plenty of charger places in the car front middle and back

Vehicle is good for small families.
Squeals when it starts. Good if you have 2 or less kids. It has a nice look for both male and female drivers. Drives well and is decent on gas. I have a kids who all have car seat so this vehicle only have one row of seats it is hard to get all the kids strapped in the car.

We love our terrain, so versatile.
The terrain is one of the most versatile vehicles that I have owned. Not too bulky for an SUV but spacious enough inside to handle groceries, kids and even pets. I would highly recommend anyone looking to start a family to drive a terrain and then they will understand why my wife and I appreciate this vehicle as much as we do.

It's a beautiful car that drives well. It's a great height where I have lots of leg space.
What I like about my GMC terrain is that it drives and rides smooth. It's medium or mid size helps me to get in and out with ease. It's also a beautiful car.

The GMC terrain is a great mom SUV! Dance mom if you will.
I have had to replace the catalytic converter. My engine light seems to always come back on as well. It is a nice size, I do not want to go back to a car after driving. I have cloth seats, I miss leather seats. I wish there was a sunroof but you can always get that added later. It is an ok SUV.

The SUV is roomy, comfortable, the right size and 4 cylinder which saves on gas.
I bought me car used from a dealership. It ran pretty good. The SUV is a great size not too small and not to big. It is very roomy inside and has a nice size trunk space. It comes equipped with OnStar which is nice but you also would need to subscribe to able to get additional features besides basic which provides a monthly diagnostics report of your car. You can also get Satellite radio. It has a backup camera which is great plus an alarm system. I like the fact that it has a back window wiper. The back seats go down to add more trunk space. It rides smoothly and is comfortable. It has been pretty reliable up to this point. I've had the car maybe 3 years which as noted I had bought used. I recently had to put in about $4000 in work from the catalytic converter, to camshaft sensors and other ones replaced, starter changed, air conditioning motor replaced, timing belt, exhaust system as well and fuel pump replaced. The one thing I definitely do not like too much about the car is that it's not quiet. It is louder than your normal car while it's running. It also is a 4 cylinder which is good on gas for an SUV, however the acceleration horsepower lacks because of it.

This car is very good for the winter. I live in an area with severe snow storms, and I have never had any problems. The car is also very spacious. We love our terrain, it is a good family car.
We've been having trouble with it starting up, but we think that it is a seasonal issue. It is a good car though and it is very reliable. It can fit five people but it can sometimes get crowded with a booster seat, car seat, and our teenager in the back. The interior for ours is leather and it is easy to clean which is important for us since we have three kids.

I love the sunroof in my SUV, I love the leg room, and all the storage places.
I love my SUV for the most part. I love my backup camera in the rear view mirror. I love that it has satellite radio, TVs on the back of the seat, plenty of legroom, and plenty of storage. What I don't like it has no trunk space in the at all. I put my daughter's stroller and diaper bag and that is all that pretty much fits in the back.

Overall a good vehicle for the price.
It has been a great vehicle do far. I have only had to do routine maintenance. The one thing I do not like about this vehicle is that the framework on each side of the windshield is too wide. It blocks your view. I have actually not seen a person coming while I was at the light until they were just about in front of my car.

Terrain is dependable and comfortable.
The vehicle drives very smoothly. It has been extremely dependable. I have no had any major mechanical issues with the vehicle. It has 5 seats total and a large trunk area to carry and store extra items. The interior is black leather with red stitching which is very classy and has held up well. The exterior is the car is white. The color and paint have maintained over time. I have taken the car of many long road trips and it has handled them all well. The price for gas is not overly expensive to fill up the vehicle. It is overall and very comfortable and secure vehicle. I would recommend it to anyone.

We love this vehicle for our family. We wanted something bigger as we were both driving sedans at the time. It handles excellent in the winter with all wheel drive. Amazing and reliable vehicle.
If you're looking for a reliable vehicle amazing on gas this is the one for you I have no complaints. But if you are looking for a vehicle with horse power you might want to look for another one. It is a 4 cylinder eco so it is amazing on gas but lacks in horsepower.

GMC terrain ecosystem. This SUV AWD vehicle gas mileage is awesome.
The terrain that I have is all that I want in a vehicle and more. It is equipped with an ecosystem, that provides for low gas usage. I had driven this 2011 terrain on vacation this past summer from buffalo, NY to Vermont and onto Rockport, mass. The gas mileage was awesome and the total cost was below $150.00 because of the ecosystem. GMC has made this SUV a comfort to ride in as a passenger, and a pleasure to drive. The Michelin tires provide for this comfortable ride and the AWD gives that added sense of steering security. I have owned 5 cj/wrangler style jeeps and this GMC terrain has just as equal traction in snow, and just as good control on slick roads. I would and have suggested this vehicle to family and friends.

It drives great. I haven't had many problems with it. The only problem I have had is the exhaust manifold breaking. I had to get it completely replaced which cost me around $1,000. Overall good, several small annoyances.
Overall a good vehicle, however, does have smaller storage area in trunk space, which is difficult when traveling, or hauling kid items like strollers, etc. Large backseat area, which is good for kids/car seats. Like the overall look of vehicle, and features like sunroof, DVD players, etc.

Still runs like new after 65,000 miles...
I find many useful features on the terrain. It includes a backup rearview camera, which helps in parking. The traction control feature allows for smoother handling in adverse weather conditions and the defroster clears the windows quickly. Even the 4-cylinder, 2.4l engine allows for a faster ride up inclines without compromising the gas mileage. However, if you buy it used, be prepared to replace the catalytic converter in a short amount of time. Fortunately, my warranty covered the catalyst's replacement. Also, the brake lines will corrode faster in winter weather due to road treatment.

I bought a used GMC terrain from the dealership and so far I have really enjoyed the vehicle. It gets fairly decent gas mileage about 24 mpg on average. My GMC is great, the flexibility of the back seat (folding, moving forwards and backwards, etc.) is very convenient. I absolutely love my Terrain. It is spacious and can haul just about anything. It also gets great gas mileage. My only complaint would be the repair work that has had to be done to it but luckily everything happened under warranty so I can't really complain too much.

My car is smooth driving, quiet and comfortable.
Love my vehicle as it is comfortable and quiet. Love my sirius radio. Drives well. At this point there is nothing I dislike.

I love my stylish and reliable GMC.
My 2011 GMC is very reliable and stylish. It is black and I love the color. It does not have a powerful take off. I love the on star. That will make me buy another GMC. It has plenty of room in the trunk and in the interior. I love the many cup holders in the front and in the back. I love the pull down cup holder in the back for the children.

It is a pretty reliable car — no major problems and it is still going strong.
I like the trunk space and the solid feel of being in an SUV. I do not like that the back seat is incredibly cramped — there's no room back there.

The car gets great gas mileage.
Love everything about this vehicle. It is fully loaded. . . Leather, navigation, rear entertainment. The only downfall is the gas cap is on the passenger side. I would definitely buy another one.

Great car, overall I am very happy about it.
Like bout interior, hate about burning oil, love about the all wheel drive but hate about lack of horsepower.

This car is great for families
This vehicle is great for everything. Very comfortable for road trips. Put the back seats down and there is plenty of room for the dogs. Plus the car looks high end and drives very comfortably. Heated seats make it great for the winter and the large sunroof makes it great for the summer.

Has a sound box to keep outside noise at a minimum. Nice car.
I love my Gmc terrain. You can't hear noises outside of the vehicle. It has lots of room very nice design. The stereo system is awesome. Very nice car. Would buy another one.

Good car. Fair gas mileage. Handles well except in rain.
Comfortable except when you go to sit down in the seat you hit your head. Lack of headroom. Drives well. 23 GPS. No major problems. A few minor recalls on a few engine parts. Love the look and handles well except it tries to hydroplane in the rain. Would buy again.

The GMC terrain is reliable and dependable, and is easy to maintain.
There have been no major problems with my car. The only major purchase I have had to make was to replace the tires, everything else has been running fine. It is 4-cylinder engine is definitely not as powerful as other cares I have driven, but it is incredibly efficient and gets me where I need to be. The seats are very comfortable, and driving it feels nice. The stereo and XM radio option are also very enjoyable. It handles very well in the snow as well, and I have not had any issues with losing traction or skidding.

The height easy to get in and out.
I love the way it handles. My complaint is the blind spot cannot see out of the passenger window blocked by the door.

It was rear-ended recently. It held up VERY nicely.
Not mechanically sound. Lots of issues over the years.

It is very important that you keep up with the oil change every 3000.
I love my GMC terrain, it is very nice and has a lot of space and it is good on gas, and drives very smoothly, also if there is any recalls on the vehicle the GMC dealership also is not so good here in Bakersfield, I went in to get a diagnosis for a problem and payed them 180 and they said it was my timing belt went for a second opinion with another mechanic and it turns out to be the battery.

The heat and ac work well.
I like the fact that the vehicle Is Durable and last well in the weather without too much wear and tear. The comfort is okay. Outside of this model having issue with the timing change for the particular make and model that it is the vehicle, in my opinion is pretty reliable.
