2019 GMC Acadia Reviews

I really like this car. It has almost everything I wanted. I wish it had cooled seats and memory buttons for the driver seat. I also wish it had the lane adjust feature as well as 360 cameras. Unfortunately I had to add running boards and a trailer hitch as this car is smaller than the 2011 Acadia I had previously, the interior is a little small. It would be nice if the 2nd row seats recline more for long road trips since my kids like to sleep when we travel and being able to recline would make them more comfortable. The car also needs more storage space.

The rearview mirrors along with the side bar connecting the rearview mirrors are so huge ItImpairs visibility for turning or changing lanes tremendously. I have contacted GMC no solutions, No help offered I am short I had a friend who is over 6 feet drive it, No help offered I am short I had a friend who is over 6 feet drive it and he reported the same issue. I believe it should have a recall I am upside down and cannot afford to trade it in. I put myself at and others at risk because of the situation

So I got my brand new Arcadia GMC SUV not even a month ago ! I haven’t even made my first car payment. It’s brand new not even 700 miles yet. I’m getting in the highway as I yield on I notice the car isn’t picking up. My foot it literally pushed down now on the gas and it won’t catch. I release and slowly get on. As I push on the gas to go it like jittered back then caught and went speed on like 75 miles per hour. I hit the brake so I’m slowing down but I notice the second I take my foot of the brake the car is still at full speed The f*****g petal is stuck ! I push down twice and it kicks back. I’m freaking the hell out ! Icontinues drive very scared and cautious and at steady pace as I don’t want to push on the gas. I’m freaking out. I have to go up a step hill to my destination. So I push on the gas , boom happen again! Petal caught but kick backed out itself after slowing down and forced to break. I’m really scared not too sure what to do they are telling me car needs to be updatEd. It’s like a computer it needs update! WTH !

This is my favorite car I've ever had and I've been leasing new cars for 20 years. It is extremely spacious, has great gas mileage and the ride is so smooth and comfortable. I drive a lot and find this car is set up with features that make my life easier. The radio on the steering wheel, the updated modern console allows me to stream music, receive calls and texts through my dashboard. After being in the car for long periods of time I am not sore or achy from the seats. It has a level of comfortability I haven't had in a car previously.

This car is reliable comfortable and sleek looking! It has every bell and whistle you would need including personal Wi-Fi. The all around vehicle camera is great for parking and reversing out of spots. This vehicle gets great mileage. The option of 4 wheel or 2 wheel drive makes this car great for summer and winter driving. The large hatchback area is very convenient. One negative is this car has a terrible blind spot for the driver on the front left and right side. Especially the drivers side. The heated seats and steering wheel get quite warm and heat up quickly. The back heated seats are great for rear riding passengers. The cooling seats are great too although a bit noisy in my opinion. The pick up is ok but I do wish it had a larger engine for more get up and go. It does help to have better gas mileage though.

The vehicle itself has been amazing. I have 2 children and having the captains chairs in the second row has been really convenient because my older child likes to have friends tag along sometimes and we do not have to move anything for them to get in the third row. I do wish that the third row was 3 seats instead of 2, just to have that extra seat if needed but it works for me for now. I also wish the trunk space was a little bigger. When the third row is up it is hard to fit really anything in the cargo area being that there is only about a foot of space. If I had children that didn't play sports, or need a stroller the vehicle would be perfect. I guess I can leave it at I do love the vehicle, it is been great in all weather conditions, I feel safe in the vehicle, I feel like my children are safe, I just wish it was a little bit bigger.

Car drives well, especially in the winter with the wheel and all wheel drive options. Plenty of space but overall is smaller than previous years models which is a plus, as it is easier to drive. The third row of seats easily goes up and down to allow for additional seating when needed or more trunk room. I have had the car for about a year and half and haven't had any performance issues but the brakes have started to squeak quite a bit and need to be replaced.

It is not very good on gas but I love the features it has especially the phone app capability. You can check the vehicle status as far as gas, tire pressure, and oil life as well as start/stop, lock/unlock, and turn the horn on the car. It has a back up camera and a button the unlock the car instead of getting your keys out to do so. It is also push to start which I love. This is my first SUV without full 3 seated rows but it is still pretty spacious. I haven’t come across any problems with the car and I think it is a good car that’ll last me a good while.

The only problem I have right now is that sometimes I have difficulty seeing over the side mirror when turning left. This car gets great gas mileage, whether it is around town or out on the highways. It is easy to drive and is very comfortable on trips. I do wish that the rear seat headrests would fold down to see better out of the back and that the seats had the ability to be adjustable. My car has an aisle, so it is easy for anyone to get into the back seat. I like the smaller SUV because I can still get a lot of items into the back for longer trips.

We have really not had any problems with our Acadia. It drives really good, and has enough room in the trunk for our double stroller. I do wish we would have gotten the captain seats in the front instead of three in the front and two in the third row. But besides that it is a nice family car. Easy to insert car seats. The car is very comfortable and the air and heat work great. There is a way to monitor the air and heat for the rear climate in touch screen radio part but hitting home, and the rear climate part. This makes it easy to adjust if the kids get cold or hot while you are driving with no passenger. There is also the control to adjust the air and heat from the center console but with the kids being in car seats they cannot adjust for themselves.

We love our new car. The 3d camera system makes maneuvering so easy and with the lane assist and other features it is like you do not even have to stress about driving. It practically drives itself. I also love the interior. Very sleek and attractive. Cleans very easily and stays clean. The stereo system is very clear and the display is easy to maneuver through. The GPS and maps systems is always up to date which makes avoiding collision and other traffic issues easy.

This car really drives smooth. It has been reliable. GMC has been amazing to work with even when an issue has arrived. GMC offers a great warranty if you plan to buy new. We love the third row seating. Car is not too big and not too small. Accommodates three small children with car seats easily. Love a lot of the features it has to offer. Heated seats, on-star feature, and XM radio is definitely a bonus. Next time I will buy leather seats but regardless we still enjoy this vehicle. We had transmission issues at one point but GMC stood by their warranty. We were given a temporary vehicle to drive while ours was being fixed. The car is comfortable even on long drives. This is a great midsize SUV for the cost.

I absolutely love my GMC Acadia. I utilize the remote start, heated & cooled seats regularly. The backup camera is amazing with a view above the vehicle. It has saved me from many catastrophes! It is the most comfortable family vehicle I have owned. I have a car seat in the middle row captains chair and there is still plenty of legroom for passengers. The rear vents help to keep the vehicle at a comfortable temperature as well as the adjustable temperatures between passengers. It rides very smooth, interstate driving is a breeze with the spacing sensors allowing you to chose how close you want to be to the vehicle in front of you. The automatic cruise control adjusts its speed to keep your gap spacing consistent. It practically drives itself!

I really do not have any problems besides my car seats messing up the leather ac/heated seats! I love this vehicle there is so much room and so many options! The seats are air conditioned and heated as well as the steering wheel! There are 3 rows of seating yet it is not too big! I do wish there was the DVD option tho for my kids in the middle and back rows! The seats maneuver easily and everything is very sturdy! The colors and trim are beautiful and I love that it has Wi-Fi and OnStar as well!

I actually downgraded from a Buick envision and love my GMC Acadia more. Even though I do not have the features I had in my Buick, I love the feel of the drive and the spacious interior of my Acadia. I have not had any problems with it so far and have heard from other Acadia owners that it is reliable. I especially like how well it does in the winter weather here in Wisconsin. I feel safe driving it, which is important to me as a mother of little ones.

I have really enjoyed this SUV. It handles well in the snow, it is good sized (but not too big), and I love all the 'smart' features. The backup assist and front crash warnings have saved me from accidents more than a few times. I love that the seat warmers automatically turn on in the winter. I have enjoyed the extra cargo room. The only negative is that the second row legroom is a bit smaller than a standard SUV, presumably due to the third row seating.

I was not in the market for a GMC however I needed the extra row of seating so I popped into a dealership to have a peek with no intention of buying a GM but I found myself wanting to go back & test drive one & I'm so glad I did! I love this car!! I have the SLE 2 & I love the sound system (no CD player but who needs one when you have #seriousxm) & the large color touch screen! It's roomy enough for me & the 3 kids! 2 car seats in the 2nd row & 1 booster in the 3rd row. The only issue that I have with it is that it takes some muscle to move the 2nd row seat forward & back again (with a child in it) to let someone out of the 3rd row. I could take the child out & have her wait while I let the older one out but I won't be crazy about that idea come winter! Definitely more pros than cons. It drives beautifully & shifts beautifully. I'm a happy customer! The guys at CrossTown made this purchase a breeze for me!
