At 66K miles, the TIPM module failed. Bad engineering.
Won't be replacing any of our vehicles with a Dodge for sure. While driving, all electrical failed. Still ran, but no gauges, no indicators, lights, power seats, AC, fan, etc. Anything with a power switch was inop. Had to replace the TIPM module to fix.

Ok but not great, it is a basic van and I wish it was better than it is.
It is a good car but the older it gets the more problems it has! It does not have back windows that go down or automatic doors either. The radio has stopped working all together now and it costs way too much money to fix it. I have read that it is a known problem with this car!

A most amazing all around vehicle.
It is the most reliable vehicle we have ever owned. All we have put into the van is: one battery. Six tires, oil, and fuel. We let the dealer perform all required scheduled maintenance, we have stowaway seating, which we love, we keep them down, unless the grand children are with us. The fold down DVD players are really handy when they are with us. When traveling we can go 4540 miles between gas stops.

Grand caravan a great vehicle.
This dodge grand caravan has been all over the contiguous us and has been very reliable. The a/c and heat are good and consistent. We love the ability to remove the bench seat and the option to 'hide' the passenger seats; tucking the seats turns the minivan into a makeshift cargo van. The remote/key fob entry for passenger doors and trunk is a handy tool, particularly when grocery shopping in bad weather. There are a few things that could be improved. The gas mpg needs to be bumped up, the stereo needs to have better sound balance/distribution, and the passenger seat needs more leg room.

Love the fold down seats!
I really love my dodge grand caravan. One of the best features are the fold away seats. The back row & center two seats fold completely down into the floor of the vehicle for the ability to transport large items or pack for long trips. It only takes a few minutes to fold the seats in, too.

Family car, very spacious and reliable.
I love my dodge grand caravan. It kicks up pretty quickly for being a bigger vehicle. I have had it for almost 4 years now and I have only had 2 breakdowns. It is great for big families. Very spacious back and trunk area. I’d recommend to anyone who needs a family car. This is it.

Flex fuel gasoline e85 yellow gas cap.
My cat is very spacious and comfortable. It has a rear camera that helps with backing up. A roof DVD player for the kids. The best part is that it is flex fuel so I get e85 gasoline which is a lot cheaper than regular gasoline. It costs about $40 to fill the tank.

Possible recalls on the dodge grand caravan.
My van is very roomy, it has tons of potential. It had a recall on a back window switch about 2 years ago. I believe dodge should do a recall for the passenger window side panel along with a gas line sensor. I have seen several passenger side panels missing from several other dodge caravans along with my own. I have had issues with my gas cap sensor, my van’s system gives me a gas cap missing warning on a regular basis but my gas cap is in place. This has been happening since I got it.

It really is as hard headed as a ram. Will not stop till you put it through a wall.
I have taken my children camping across the country in this van. We have taken the seats out of it to fit the materials needed to build my house piece by piece and overloaded it with wood for the fireplace during winters. As long as you do basic maintenance this thing will not give up.

Why I love the dodge grand caravan.
I love this vehicle because of all the space it has in it. I have plenty of seating tom plus plenty of cargo room. It drives very synth and has a really nice sound system in it. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone with a larger family. We can go away for the weekend and have plenty of room for our luggage and all of us and be comfortable.

Great for both work and family style vehicle.
Economic system creates lot of mechanical issues after using for awhile. Good car but not for gas consumption. Performance is good for years then lots of thing need to be attention. Dodge is a nice feature car. I love it. Sound and radio work good. Ac and heat are nice and comfort. Space for operation is great. Lots of space for loading things to move. Great combination between family and work. A lot of repairs and maintenance issue. Strong and runs great with long distance travel.

Dodge grand caravan offers so much space for all your stuff!
Love the stow and go, spaciousness for passengers, and comfort. Have regular problems with brakes wearing out, exterior rust, interior plastic pieces breaking off. Is a reliable vehicle though so easy to overlook the things it lacks. Would recommend this vehicle to others who need space in a mid-size vehicle.

Folding into the floor 2nd and 3rd row seats is huge plus for added cargo space.
Overall dodge makes good cars and vans. The only problem I have with my 2013 dodge grand caravan is transmission problems seem to occur premature. I love how all the seats in the grand caravan all folds into the floor leaving a lot of cargo room. Compared to my previous dodge grand caravan I had (2005) I see big improvements such as less blind spots and easier visibility of the street directly in front of you.

Dodge grand caravan has lots of recalls.
The dodge grand caravan 2013 sxt has had a lot of recalls and problems. Which is a shame as it is a comfortable vehicle with ample space for storage and passengers. It has stow and go apartments in the floorboard, folding seats to make more space for carrying large cargo, it has 3 plug in charging stations, one in the front, one in the middle and one in the back. It has passenger control for the heat and ac in the top middle of the van.

Things I like about the van: it is very comfortable for long trips. It is very basic, does not have a lot of extras. The seats fold down into the floor to add extra space. It is very easy to drive, the cruise control is very nice. The windows for the back seats roll down, so the children can enjoy fresh air easily.

2013 dodge grand caravan review.
Dodge has numerous electrical problems. We have had to put over $1000 in parts just to fix it. Also, since we've had it, there has been 2 recalls. We've only had it for two years. On the plus side, it does have a lot of legroom. It has a DVD player in the back. Comfort is rated at an 8 but reliability is a 2. If I could go back I would definitely choose something different.

Great car with a lot of space.
Had to get a new transmission after the car was 6 years old. Other than that the car has been great. Normal wear and tear. Love the stow and go seats. Would have loved the model with the Bluetooth but that wasn't available the time. Tons of space both inside and in the trunk.

Smooth ride, good gas mileage.
Traveling with children has been easier with our van. We all ride comfortably, we can listen to music or watch a movie. I always trust it's going to take us anywhere without any issue. The ability to roll down all 4 windows has been nice as well. Auto doors are a must have!

The perfect family mini van.
I love my van. It is spacious and comfortably seats my family of six. I love that there are multiple compartments for storage. Comes in very handy for storing extra diapers, wipes, kids clothes, blankets, toys, cleaning supplies. The back seats also come down very easily, perfect for when we go to drive in movies or out to the desert for a night under the stars. I haven't had any problems with my vehicle as I keep it serviced regularly.

Great family vehicle, reliable.
Car has no major problems. Stow and go seats are a bit difficult to manage, but doable. If the coolant is running low, the heater will not work. There are not many blind spots, the motorized doors and gate are life savers! Using the latch system for a car seat is a little difficult.

It's just a little too big for me. It took some time to get used to parking. I am only 4'11 though. But other than that it is great for driving 2 kids back and forth is good in gas and lot of space... The seats come out which is great for transporting large items.

Air control both in front as well in back seating.
I keep the maintenance up on vehicle, have not had problems except normal wear and tear such as tires and needed oil changes. It seats 7-8 people comfortably, seats recline back and can be lowered into floor position allowing room to bring home large items, such as a dinette table or mattresses without putting them on the roof of vehicle.

Stop&go is the way to go!
The stop&go seating is ideal for moving large items, as well as for traveling. We have been able to move large items like dressers and couches with ease. The compass feature on the rear view mirror is very helpful. In a day where maps aren't needed and we rely on GPS, sometimes we cannot get a signal while traveling. Knowing what direction we're facing when lost has been so very helpful.

Maybe you will not get a lemon.
It keeps overheating. We have had to replace the radiator and tubing twice. More than once I have been stranded on the side of the road with my kids. But maybe I just got a lemon. I love the red color and the soft seats. I love the automatic doors and hatch. The sound system is great too.

What I love about my grand caravan.
My vehicle is super reliable. I do not have automatic sliding doors and I do not like that. The manual sliding door sticks and is hard to open. It runs very well and has good gas mileage. The DVD player is a must, I definitely wish it came with GPS as well. My only other complaint is automated gate would be nice and it takes a long time for the heat to warm up so heated seats are a must in my next vehicle. Heated mirrors are an added benefit I enjoy as I live where it snows.

The best van for the money with fold down into the floor seats.
What I like best is that the seats fold down into the floor and I can load up a lot of luggage, coolers, cats and dogs in carriers. That is what I bought it for. When I have people riding with me I can just pull the seats up and it seats 5 adults, not counting me, the driver. What I do not like is that the headlights do not come on and off automatically. I had a much older van and a truck that did that! I wish it had a back up camera, but guess I'll have to get a newer model for that. The van is very comfortable with the captains chairs and fold down arms and about a dozen drink holders.

My van, and why I love it so very much.
It is actually a great vehicle-- I got it so I could transport my growing children and their friends. Now I have grandbabies, and the van allows us all to go together to places. I no longer use the DVD player, but it works. It has the stow and go seating, so when we need extra space, there is plenty of it. When not using the stow and go, the space under the floor provides extra storage, which is helpful in long road trips.

It's not very good on gas definitely not a smooth ride. I do like that I can start the engine before I get in and the fact that it has a TV my kids can watch movies on. It does have a lot of room because all the seats fold into the floor. It also comes with GPS and you can get Sirius radio.

I love it for the things I have mentioned.
It drives well, it is reliable, the seats are comfortable and adjustable. I put the seat in the flour behind the driver's seat and put my walker back there. I leave it set up so it is easier to manage. In my friends car I have to collapse it and it is hard to find space to put it in. I like that I can answer phone calls while I am driving. I love being able to control three areas of cold and heat. I wish it was not so hard to reach the back hatch to close it.

I've had my van for about a year. Nothing major or really minor is wrong with it. The check engine light come in every now and again. But when I get it check it say there's air coming thru the gas tank manly meaning that need to be replaced or tightening.

Spaciousness of the Dodge Grand Caravan
My Dodge Grand Caravan is extremely comfortable and roomy. The biggest pro of the vehicle is definitely its spaciousness. Between the trunk and sto-n-goes, there is plenty of room for road trips, grocery store runs, long vacations, and about anything in between. It also has great mileage and has been very reliable over the 6 years I have owned it. I love this car.

Can runs great. The dealer messed it up. I am so sad I have a leaky transmission. I have little rust on it to. But she is still my baby. The stow n go is the greatest invention. I have moved so much in this van. The entertainment package was nice when we took long trips, and my boys were younger!

Turn off the green leaf and air conditioning if you have a tricky merging situation.

The vehicle seats 7 and is rather spacious.
The car came with automatic doors both of which have no broken. The air does not work and the heat sometimes does not work. It has rusted up a lot very easily. The back doors are hard to open manually. The back trunk door sometimes gets a little stuck when trying to open it. The headrests on the seats in the back of the car do not stay up and fall down making it uncomfortable.

Our ups and downs with our dodge grand caravan.
We've recently had problems with the transmission. We had it checked out but they weren't able to find the problem. So it has its days were it drives perfectly good, on others when we reach 40 the trans skips. We have to release the gas then proceed with the drive. Sometimes we have to pull over turn it off for a few mins and restart it. I like how the seats slide down for storage. Great on distance trips.

The gas mileage is not great.
My main complaint about the Dodge grand caravan is the trunk space. The trunk is not as big as I had hoped but there is a good bit of storage under the folding captains chairs. The chairs are a little difficult to get in and out but it is very handy to be able to fold them into the floor. Otherwise it is a very reliable vehicle and we are very happy with it.

Dodge caravan 2013 review.
I have had this vehicle for a few years now, and it is given little problems. It is very comfortable and has withheld many trips, stains, and kids. It has a movie player feature for entertainment and automatic opening doors for easy access. The seats are easy to clean as well as the carpets.

Lots of cargo space with limited power.
Great fuel efficiency, lacks power though. Has tow capacity, which is neat. Also, lots of space and third row is handy. Also has folding second and third row seats to make so much extra cargo space. Transmission seems to be a bit harder shifting sometimes though. Really comfortable, has backup camera option.

Dodge grand caravan r/t it is not just a van.
It is very reliable, great on gas mileage and trip van. It is a van but it is sporty style. It has the power to pick up and go. It is very roomy and the seats fold into the floor and allow you storage to haul things. I hauled a futon frame, mattress and 2 twin box springs all in the back. Lots of storage areas, USB charging, navigation. Recommend to anyone looking for a van.

Ups and downs of dodge grand caravan.
My vehicle has been reliable on the road, however we have had to replace the brakes numerous times, it has had bubbles of rust spots since we got it, the plastic sides on bottom of middle row seats have all broken off, the doors freeze in winter, and it does not have a compass. Love the stow and go seats though!

Functional and family friendly.
I have found that the van rusts quickly and it is not always the smoothest ride. I am at 95000 miles and now it is starting to nickel and dime me. I do like all the storage room and the stow and go seating. There is always plenty of room. It has a good radio.

Best family and utility van you can own!
I love my dodge van. It has 4 bucket seats and 3 regular seats for the very back. The sliding doors and trunk open and close automatically by buttons above the rearview mirror and on the key fob. The driver seat has electric adjusters for height, leg space and lumbar support. All 5 back seats can be stowed into the floor making large items easily loaded. Lastly, the dodge grand caravan has an eco button for gas saving purposes. I love my van!

Best family vehicle for a large family

The reliability is very good. The fold down seats in the middle and back are very nice and helpful. The best feature of the van is the temperature control. Each section of the van and each person has the ability to change the temperature to what they like.

The reason we fell in love with our dodge caravan.
My car has many features that make it the ideal car for my family. There is plenty of room and I'd Does come with stow n go seating. This is our second dodge in a row. We drove a caravan before this for 12 years. We have found that the dodge caravan as a whole is a very reliable van. The grand caravan has many more bells and whistles than the regular caravan. There is a lot of electronics on this vehicle, down the road that could mean costly repairs if needed. It gets great mileage and drives wonderfully. Like I said before there is more room than we need but it is nice to have a large hatch and the ability to fold down the seats anytime. This is a 2013 and very few repairs have been made, we just have had to do the everyday upkeep on it. I would recommend this van to anyone that needs a lot of room or that travels either with a big family or not.

My vehicle is fine besides one or two issues and 200,000 miles on it.
It has been reliable enough, although my opinion of it may be affected by whatever issues arise after getting 200,000 miles on it and any faulty repairs mechanics may have left. Outside of age-related issues, the middle row of seats no longer fold in and that restricts space when moving large items.

Comfortable seats. Good sound system. Good windshield clearance, very easy to see in front of you. Can be hard to drive for a bit at first, and especially to park. Parallel parking can be a little tricky. Can take a bit to get up to speed on the highway, but it'll get there and you'll have a comfortable ride. Great storage capacity as well.

The thing I would like others to know about the van is the stow and go option.

If you love and care about the safety of your family, Then this is your van.
Overall this van is awesome. Good gas mileage, Easy to drive. Working on the van is easy too there is just enough space for my hands to fit. There are seven seats spaced perfectly apart making road trips more inviting. The buttons to control the volume and changing the radio stations are on the steering wheel but on the back. Comes with cruise control, cold AC for the hot summers and a warm heater when the weather is too cold. Driving this van around town makes me feel like a kid again.

I like my van because the seats hide into the bottom of the van so I do not have to carry heavy seats out. There is a lot of room when the seats stow away to help us and family and friends move. Also the height helps my 87 year old mom get in and out easily! I love the doors being automatic opening and closing and the back in case of not being able to open and close the doors with your hands full of stuff.

Stow and go seats for the win!
The stow and go seats were what set this van apart from the others. The interior is spacious and easily arranged to fit your needs. I use it for my daily commute as well as long trips. It is easy and comfortable to drive. I would prefer a better sound system but it is adequate.

I love my Grand Caravan. I was never going to own a minivan but I do and love it. I like that I can haul my kids plus a few others. When we vacation, there is lots of room for bags! One thing that I dislike is that the interior is made with cheap plastic that snaps off easily and breaks! I am having trouble with the locks on my sliding doors. Those are my only complaints-- I love most of it!
It's easy to drive and fun! Lots of room to spare! Great family vehicle! I like being above most other cars on the road!

It fits our family of 4 well. The size lets us pack up our family and whatever we need to go on vacations.
It is a reliable car and hasn't broken down and has 1 year left to pay off. It has taken us on many trips and fits our family well.

My grand caravan, why I love it.
Great mileage, roomy, and great features. Powerful with a lot of pick up. Backup camera works well, and it has quite a few power plugs including us plugs. The DVD player is great for trips. I truly love it! The built in hard drive is great for music.

Great car for a large family.
My dodge grand caravan is perfect for my large family, it is reliable and easy to drive. The seats are comfortable for the long summer vacation drives we take. Only issue was having to have the transmission rebuilt but it had close to 100,000 miles on it at the time.

Comfortable fit for big families.
I love it. It is very roomy. Fits 7 people. Safe. It drives great in any weather. Don't need much fixing often. Great for big families. It is very comfortable. It has a CD player. The ac and heater are great. They are in front and back. The passenger can adjust it themselves. The middle windows roll down as well.

Great vehicle for the price!
Very reliable. Great gas mileage. Really no issues and upkeep is not very costly. Other than it looks like a “soccer mom” kind of vehicle it is performance makes up for it. I love the automatic rear loading and the automatic sliding back seat doors on both driver and passenger sides. Makes getting groceries in and out easy. Plus the stow and go makes accommodating any trip stress free because there is more than enough room and easy to set up.

Great car for families and anyone with things to carry from one point to another
I love my van. The seats are easy to fold down, the controls are easy to use and quick to learn. We've replaced the battery and tires. The rear air conditioning thing needed replaced, but since we had the warranty, it didn't cost anything but the deposit.

I like the back up camera, color, and the sliding doors, comfortable seating.
I like the way I sit in the seats and I'm short like the way the pedal cone up to get me closer to the brake and gas pedals. I don't like it is so long.

Dodge minivan, great van, great ride & decent gas mileage.
Great van. After a few years the weather stripping started coming off the doors. Drives & rides like a car. Great at hauling large pieces of furniture. Gas mileage is 25 mpg on the highway. 22 mpg in the city. Air & heat both work well enough to cool & heat the entire van.

Minivans are cool! Roomy, comfortable, efficient, and reliable!
My favorite thing is the room it provides for hauling kids and their stuff. Plus being able to travel with a family of seven, and having the luggage rack on top is a huge feature. The reliability has been amazing and it gets you wherever you need to go safely. The economic side is a great for staying on budget and the eco friendly button is a another way to save on that gas money. Overall this vehicle has been an excellent choice for this season for our family.

Current and potential soccer moms wanted.
My dodge grand caravan is the minivan that dreams are made of. My van is a bit older but still has all the necessary amenities that any mother needs. The 3rd row seating makes carrying a family of 5-7 easy. And do not worry about having to transport half the soccer team. This minivan comes with stow-in-go seating, making it not only the perfect "soccer mom" van but also the essential hauler too.

Overall pleased. Known issues with vehicle but vehicle is still worth it!
The transmission went out quickly, about 4 years after purchased in 2018. This is a known problem. Other than that, I love the van. It has an incredible amount of storage with the 3rd row and 2nd row seats able to fold away. I have 3 kids (15, 13, and 7). We take week long family vacations with my family of 5 and my mother with us (6 total), all our luggage, and we are very comfortable.

Great storage space and comfortable seating.
Car is great. I love the interior layout, very comfy and reliable. This is the second dodge grand caravan I have owned. My daughter loves it, plenty of room for storage and seats disappear into the floor. Nice felt interior- I hate leather. Overall a great car.

White color and I love the inside!
Really not that many problems! Oil change every now and then, runs smoothly, haven't had grand issues recently. The inside is really nice and is big enough for my family and my dog. The engine runs great and I have never had issues with it turning on or making weird noises. I have had a car in the past where it wouldn't turn on and had all kinds of issues with it and I am glad this one does not have me deal with stuff like that.

I like my vehicle. It is a good ride and it gets me places. Although it is not the best car, it has been reliable for me so far. It has only had one malfunction with the engine but other than that everything has been perfect with it. I love the car and hope to have it for the long haul.

Versatile, comfy, entertaining.
I love my car because it is versatile and meets my needs. Holds all my big teenagers, dogs, etc. I can move small furniture, put Christmas tree on top, and most other things one uses a truck for. Just pop the seats down and tons of cargo room. The entertainment package is excellent. Video player is awesome. Speakers awesome. Fuel economy excellent for a large vehicle. The leather adjustable seats are so comfortable for long trips. The ac blows so cold and reaches passengers in back row easily.

The stop and go capability and the good gas mileage are a huge plus for us.
One of my favorite things about our Dodge Grand Caravan is the stop and go capability it is. We travel a lot and with a lot of children, being able to store things under the seats really helps! It also gets pretty good gas mileage. It is very comfortable to drive and ride in for long trips. It also has a DVD player to keep the kids occupied.
