I hate this car. I would not recommend it.
I do not like the fact that there a number of blind spots. I do not like the armrest sits over the cup holders. I would not have chosen this car new. I bought it used because I needed a car and had no time to shop around. There is very little leg room in the back.

Don't buy one there is nothing but problems and very expensive to fix.
I bought the car 3 months ago brought it back cause it wouldn't go out of park a few weeks later brought it back cause it wouldn't start another few weeks again because it wouldn't start and now the heat doesn't work and one of the blinkers are broken.

Modern exterior, interior & stereo system. Family car, no 4-wheel drive, 4 doors
I like the Caliber, due to the hatchback, extra space, and interior. It's very easy to maintain and keep clean and the stereo system is great. Due to living in the Midwest, I'm not a fan of not having 4-wheel drive to comfortably travel in snow/rain.

A small car not great for family or tall people
My opinion is a little bit of a gas guzzler. Not very cost efficient on a small vehicle It doesn't have a lot of legroom so tall people aren't very comfortable. The space in between the front seats don't have much room for beverages and phone. It drives alright

Very reliable car, good gas mileage
My car has over 250,000 miles, and it is a very reliable vehicle. Some reviews said the a Dodge Caliber wasn't reliable, but I believe it did and is doing a great purpose. I won't be trading in this car in a while.

Excellent space! So much room for activities!
The Dodge Caliber is a great little hatchback with a very spacious interior. Many people are often surprised about how spacious it is, in fact. The Caliber looks small from the outside, but it is a 5 seater vehicle with ample trunk space, perfect for traveling. If you need the extra trunk space, the back seat folds down flat so the trunk/bed becomes all of the space behind the front seats.

The ability to go use manual and auto transmission is interesting and I like it.
I quite enjoy my car, it is comfy, smooth, the perfect size, easy to drive, small but not cramped, and nice looking. I love the ability to switch between manual and auto transmission types. I haven't had any problems with it and it is quite the sturdy little car from what I have put mine through.

Dodge caliber- pros & cons.
The base model dodge caliber has no cruise control no heated seats. Has problems with solenoid going out and the electric throttle control unit. It get decent gas mileage through. Going uphill it isn't the best loses a lot of power. Shocks go out fast in it. Dodge is known for making cars that easily fall apart.

Pros & Cons of a Dodge Caliber The style of the Dodge Caliber is very unusual
There is a lot to like about the Dodge Caliber. The size, the gas mileage, the ease of handling. However, I find I have trouble seeing out the windows. When watching for oncoming traffic at an angle, trying to see past the windshield posts in both directions is difficult. These windshield posts are very wide and trying to see around them is nearly impossible.

I love my 2007 dodge caliber.
My dodge caliber has been the best purchase I have ever made. The car has run great since I purchased it. Minor work done to it to keep up the maintenance. Travels well in the snow and in the mountains. I love the size of the vehicle I can park in almost any small parking space. I have used it to move into a new house and there was always plenty of room for small household items. When I rent small equipment the back has lots of space and the grid does not allow it to slide side to side. This car has been a great purchase and I hope it continues to run for many more years.

Won't buy a Dodge again. Really disappointed.
Really thought I would love this car. But have had a lot of problems with the car. Had to replace the engine and transmission once already. And the tranny is starting to slip again. It also burns oil, always having to add about one half of a quart. I don't think I will buy a Dodge product in the future.

Summary of my 07 Dodge Caliber
Small cylinder tranny can be an issue but overall reliable year round. Interior can be cramped at first. Safety standards are stellar. Great storage capacity and seating room for a crossover. Surprisingly powerfully for a 4 banger. Comfortable and peppy easy to maneuver

I keep my car mechanically sound.
I like how the car looks, easy to get in and out of, 140,000 miles and still runs good. Don't like the blind spots. I wish I could attach a hitch to pull a small trailer, but don't know how the extra pulling would affect the motor, being only 4 cylinder.

The Dodge Caliber is a great car to drive. It is easy to maintain, and it is absolutely wonderful. It has plenty of legroom, and Headroom. It also has plenty of room for 5 people comfortably. It has a great body style and Sleek lines which makes it look like a muscle car.

Reliable 2007 dodge caliber.
This car is pretty comfortable. It is a smaller SUV, which makes it good on gas. 4 cylinders is nice. But it is a little cramped inside. Back seat passengers are a little tight. Trunk space is nice. As far as performance goes it is great! Have yet to encounter any major issues. The radio buttons have kind of rubbed off after a while. But that is about it.

I am satisfied with the performance and quality of this vehicle. I have had few problems over the years like paint peeling, window regulators going out (2) and other mechanical problems. However I get it repaired and keep driving it. I would probably consider buying another Dodge when it is time to replace.

Every time I have a problem, I fix it and then something else goes wrong. Nickel and dimes me all the time. Tire issues, brake issues and battery issues are my most common problems. 2007 Dodge Caliber: one of the most reliable vehicles I have owned.
My Dodge Caliber (2007) has been a fairly reliable car for me. I have needed to bring it in for typical repairs on occasion (a new serpentine belt, replace the battery after a few years, etc.), but on the whole this is the most reliable vehicle I have owned. It does not have four-wheel drive, but still handles the snow and ice on the roads up in Minnesota quite well. Overall, I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a smaller car that is easy to drive, reliable, and has great gas mileage.

Dodge caliber is a great car.
My 2007 caliber is a great reliable car it came with a 6 disc changer and navigation. It has great fuel economy for both the highway and city. When my work truck broke down I panicked thinking that I wouldn't have the ability to keep up with work calls due to the limited space the car has opposed to my RAM 2500 diesel truck I quickly learned that the hatch back feature made it possible to carry any and all of my tools to my jobs. Tools as small as hand tools or as big as table saws or tile saws. I have now owned this car for 8 years and have spent maybe 3000 dollars on maintenance I can't complain.

Reliable and durable mini SUV,
The vehicle is a mini SUV. Fits four to five people. The performance is good in my opinion. I will give it 8 out of 10. I have this car for 8 years now, and never failed me when I am doing long drives. I lived in Georgia before, and every special occasion, I come down to Miami. This is the car I used moving from Georgia to New Jersey. Only problem that I have encounter that is really bad is the alternator (cost me $400-500), and the control arms ($800-1000 problems. The car now still in good condition, and plan on keeping it until it really catch up with old age.

I absolutely love my car!
I absolutely love my vehicle. It is very good on gas and very cheap to fill up. The maintenance costs are very low. Oil changes are normally no more than $25 and for a full set of four tires costs a little over $300 out the door. My vehicle also has a three compartment glove box. The top compartment is for smaller things like insurance cards and vehicle registration, the second compartment is a cooler for water bottles or in my case sodas. The third compartment is much larger for anything else you might need.

2007 Dodge Caliber Realness
The car has lasted well and held up nicely. We have had very few issues. The first issue we have had with the car is battery corrosion at the connection point of the battery and the wires. We have scraped it off and reconnected and it was worked fine. The second issue is minor but the tires are very loud when driving on the highway or at a high rate of speed. I have changed the tires several times over the years with no change in noise level.

I bought a Dodge Caliber in my junior year of high school. It had a previous owner with highway miles on it. I have only started to have to buy new parts for it in the last two years. The overall appeal of the car is what I am not very fond of. I do not like how it looks. It is 2WD so I am unable to drive often in the winter with no traction. It gets anywhere from 18-22 mpg in town, which isn't bad but sometimes I swear that it's not true. Mechanically, it doesn't sound very smooth while running. We bought this car used. It looked great on the outside, but it required a brake booster right away. Multiple times since buying this car we have had to buy control arms, and also spend money on repairs I have never heard of before. I do like how the car looks and drives now that I'm familiar with it. Having a hatchback is convenient. The back seats are able to fold down which is great space for hauling stuff. The back seat is cramped and it can be hard to exit the back seats. There are also some blind spots that I haven't had in other cars out the front windshield. Overall, I have grown to like the car at best. It passed the last PA inspection we had done which made me appreciate it more. Also, the vehicle scratches up really easy and if not careful it is more than likely to show it is scratches, the vehicle is a rare red color that sometimes is hard to find and not to mention you will be paying a professional to do a paint job that could probably cost you more money than usual.

The most important thing about the Dodge caliber is that it is a good gas saver.
The Dodge caliber is a great small car. It has lots of storage and space for an individual who has children with lots of things to haul around. The gas mileage is fairly decent, I have saved money since purchasing this vehicle. I like the height this vehicle, especially when you are a tall person like myself.

It is a good size, but can be more tough to drive.
I like the size and mileage. I don't like how it runs. It feels rough when I drive.

Reliable car with minimum problems
I love the reliability of my 2007 Dodge Caliber. There aren't many features. The performance is great and it is really low maintenance. The biggest problem I seem to have is how close it is to the ground. Which means when I am driving I can feel every nook, cranny, and pothole.

My favorite detail about my car is that it has a sunroof.
The car drives great for 11 years old. It is very smooth and has no major mechanical problems. It is very reliable and has not broken down yet. The problems it has right now are that the account blows hot air, the car does not have a lot of power when pressing the gas, and it needs new brakes.

It gets great gas mileage.
Things always breaks down. Cannot fit my car seat in it the best. The hatchback space is very small.

I love it a lot even if it is slightly ugly with rust.
I have had manufacturing related defects in the past but otherwise I like it is decent gas mileage and dependability. I have no desire to buy a new car anytime soon.

Cooler for sodas in the glove box and a 120v outlet in armrest.
We bought our vehicle from a used car lot. It had 200, 000 miles on I. The only issues that we have had so far is the tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) was broken by the tire repairman. We had to get a new tire because the alignment was off. So now the check engine light comes on because the satellite from the tire pressure monitoring system has been removed. Cost for a new one is $70. 00. The only other problem I have had is that the 02 sensor for the return line is showing low volts and comes on every blue moon. It is nice it is all leather, it is an automatic but you can manually shift it from 1st to 6th if you want to. It gets good gas mileage. It has a very good sound system that is stock. The seats are comfortable there's not automatic seats, but it is nice they're comfortable. The only other issue I have is that the car looks good the wheels are nice, it drives good, it tracks on the road fine and it is a good handling car. The only other thing is that it does not have a lot of power. It lacks passing power but that is the sacrifice that you have to make for the fuel mileage. All in all it is a good car.

It is extremely good on gas. Gets around 30 miles a gallon if I drive it right.
I bought it due to my last car blowing an engine. It was an extremely good price. It has 200,000 miles on it so I replaced the transmission in it and since then I have not had any problems

Great for a first car! Would definitely recommend.
It is a very comfortable vehicle, very good for a first car. It is also great on gas. Takes about 10-11 gallons of gas depending on the price at the time. Also a lot of blind spots on the vehicle so be careful of that. I have had this vehicle for a few years and it still drives great.

It is roomy but compact it can carry a large load but not have to be a large vehicle
It is the perfect size to carry groceries or items to a craft sale. Great for getting in and out of tight spaces. Good gas mileage No complaints

Good mileage and good quality.
This car drives very smoothly. I love how it feels when I am behind the wheel. It is nice and the seat are comfortable and very adjustable. I actually think this vehicle has good mileage on it. If there was one thing I could change about this car it would be the color, I would want my car to be more of a candy red or something.
