The display in Your 2010 Ford Fusion is controlled by something Ford calls the APiM which stands for Accessory Protocol Interface Module. This is a controller that is separate from the head unit and is in control of interfacing with all Audio sources as well as CAN-bus systems. Multiple owners have complained about the display not functioning, some say it is intermittent while others experience a complete and total failure. Unfortunately the only fix seems to be having the APiM replaced by Ford which is covered under warranty if You are still within the time period. If You are outside of Your warranty it may end up being cheaper to have the head unit replaced with an aftermarket one.

In the 2010 ford fusion if the radio display is not working you may have a blown fuse.
