The Volkswagen CC's key fob may not function if wires within it are disconnected, the battery has died or the key needs progRamming/reprogRamming. Replace the battery be separating the two plastic sides of the fob and installing a new 3-volt battery. To open the car door manually, locate the small cap covering the keyhole and use the VW's key, rather than remote buttons, to open the door. For vehicles with push button start, it is hidden within the fob and may be accessed by depressing a release button to use in the door. To reset or reprogRam with a master, press the unlock or lock button on the new device. Open then lock Your VW with the master and the new device should be reset.
