The 2018 Ford Explorer is equipped with two fuse boxes. One is in the engine compartment and the other is in the passenger compartment. The box in the engine compartment is to the right of the battery near the firewall on the driver's side of the vehicle. This is where You'll find the powertrain control module, heated mirrors and rear window, anti-lock brake system module, and blind spot information system. The fuse box in the passenger compartment is left of the steering column. It's easiest accessed by removing the trim. This panel houses a majority of electrical-related components, such as memory seat switch, driver unlock relay, datalink connector power, Securlcode keyless entry keypad, push button start, SYNC, and lane departure warning module. You can find a diagram to both boxes on the inside cover of each one or in Your owner's manual.

This is located to the left and below the steering wheel, near the brake pedal. You will need to pull off the panel cover to get at the fuses.
