The body control module for a 2016 Ford Transit is located under the dashboard on the driver's side towards the center of the vehicle. The BCM controls the power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, immobilizer system, central locking, etc. A malfunctioning BCM will activate dashboard instrumentation cluster error and warning lights. These lights may flash off and on if the BCM is not able to read the sensors correctly. Your vehicle performance may also be affected as the BCM communicates with other control modules in the vehicle. Because of the BCMs communications with other modules and components, You may experience a no crank or no start condition. The key is to heed these warning signs, take prompt action, and seek help.
