Where is 2005 ford f150 camshaft position sensor bank 2 located?

The 2005 Ford F-150 will have two separate camshaft sensors, as it seems You've already figured our. There bank 2 sensor is located near the serpentine belt, above the oil pressure switch and below the ignition transformer capacitor #2. In contrast, the bank1 sensor is found on the other end of the block (same side), below the ignition transformer capacitor #1. Occasionally, You'll find that one or more of these sensors will need to be replaced; code P0345 is what You're most likely seeing above, but adjAccent codes will be thrown for different sensors. I wouldn't characterize the replacement as a simple one, since You'll need to tear down a decent portion of the truck, but there are certainly harder things You could get Yourself into.

It is on the driver side front just under the valve cover.It's a 8mm to take the bolt out. Good luck with that adventure have a feelingit'sjust the beginning. That was the 1st thing I replaced on this month long problem withminethat just keeps getting worse with everypart

There are 2 camshaft position sensors on the 5.4L engine - one on the front right cylinder head and one on the front of the left cylinder head
