The fuses for the rear lights in a Volkswagen Golf Mk6 are in the engine compartment fuse box which is located between the battery and the fender on the driver's side. In slot F16 is the fuse for the right rear lights and F26 is for the left rear. Both of these are 30 amp flat blade fuses. The easiest way to remove a fuse is with a fuse puller , grasp both sides of the fuse and pull straight up. If the fuse is bad and You replace it and blows as soon as You put the car in reverse gear, it means there is a short somewhere between the fuse and the lights, locate the electrical connectors moose or bare wiring.
