Every vehicle manufactured after 1996 is equipped with an OBD2 or an "Onboard Diagnostics II" system that allows a compatible scanner to connect to the car's computer. Engine and operating malfunctions are recorded through a series of universal codes generated by the computer. These codes are in turn read by an OBD2 compatible scanner once connected to Your vehicle. The 2015 Honda Accord is equipped with an OBD2 port within its interior fuse box. The port can be located on the drivers side of the cabin to the left of the steering wheel. It's under the dash panel that sits above the brake pedal next to a box that houses the Accord's fuses. EOBD codes are specific to Europe and European vehicles.
