The key fob battery size for the 2016 Honda Pilot is A3volt CR2032 coin cell. They are very cheap - around $3 to $5, and replacing the battery in the fob is extremely easy. So before You spend a lot of money replacing the entire fob, changing the battery is worth it. The only things Youll need are the battery and some kind of small screwdriver or something to pry open the fob. You may also need a coin to make pulling the fob apart easier by inserting it between the cracks and twisting. First, You need to push in a switch on the fob to slide the entire key out. Insert the coin between the crevice and gently twist to get the fob to come apart. Use the small screwdriver to dislodge the drained battery. Put the new battery in, and snap the case back together, insert the key, and Youre good to go
