The 2009 Honda Civic has a starter relay that can be found in the engine compartment. First, You need to stand in front of Your vehicle, and open the hood. Next, look along the front portion of the engine bay, in front of the motor. There should be an elongated black box. Lift the lid on the box, and inside You will find an array of fuses, relays, and switches. On the lid You find a sticker chart with a series of numbers or codes that label each component inside. Locate the code that matches the relay for the starter, and You should find the corresponding part without issue.
