The cigarette lighter fuse on Your 2006 Jeep Liberty is located in the interior fuse panel that is on the driver side of the dashboard. There is a small plastic panel that is only accessible when the driver door is open. Pull that panel out to get access to all of the fuses. There are two fuses that control the 12v cigarette lighter ports, one for the front plug and one for the rear. The front plug is powered by the #3 fuse that is labeled Cigar Lighter, it is a 20 amp yellow fuse. Fuse #16 is the one that powers the rear outlet. It is a 20 amp yellow fuse labeled Power Outlet (Rear) You must replace any blown fuses with one of the exact same amperage, You cannot use a higher rated fuse.
