If You are having emission problems with the 2018 Honda Odyssey then it could be a few things. If the O2 sensor in the vehicle is damaged then the air to fuel mixture will be off, which may make it emit a gas smell. If You are getting this smell and it is not one of the sensors then You may have a damaged catalytic converter or a damaged purge valve. These can be hard to determine, but they will trigger the check engine light, so You can take the vehicle in and have it read with an OBD scanner. Lastly, make sure the gas cap is secure and that it is not cracked, as this will also cause an emissions issue.
