When towing a trailer or other heavy load just keep in mind that braking distance is significantly hindered so You will have to drive slower and stay further away from cars to avoid a wreck.

Not true. Our 2014 Edge SE 2.0L is only rated for 1500lbs for some reason. Plenty of torque, the frame and brakes are the same - either marketing or something to do with the transmission.
