If Your SRS light is on in the 2005 Honda Odyssey, the first thing You should do is connect an OBD-II scan tool to see which trouble codes it's throwing. The light can be indicative of major malfunctions which will pose a serious risk to personal safety in the event of an accident. If You do not have access to a scan tool, most major automotive parts stores offer the service free of charge. While You're at it, moSTScan tools offer SRS functionality which will allow You to reset the light natively (though resets aren't offered through parts stores because of liability issues). If You choose to go another route, You'll be able to short pins number 4 and 9 on the DLC and turn on the ignition. This should reset the light.

To reset the airbag light sensor with this contact, change the ignition key to the "on" position (do not start the engine). The srs will glow for two seconds, then shut it off. Once the light is turned off, remove the shortening wire to shorten the circuit. The srs light will be turned on again. Remember that the reset of the airbag sensor is not recommended and can result in injury.
