There are many complaints documented concerning electrical issues in the 2016 Honda Pilot. They range from very minor problems to total electrical failure. The most common complaint is with recurring fault codes. Even after the dealership clears the codes, they often come back. A software patch helps sometimes. There are also a lot of complaints that the trailer stability assiSTStops working. When this happens, the error lights also often come on for the power steering and brakes. Cruise control stops working, as well. The keyless start system and keyless entry system have many problems reported, too. Sometimes, the system won't start the vehicle, but there are also times when the key fob just needs to be reprogRammed. Additional issues with the collision, mitigation alarm, dead battery, and electrical system software have been documented, as well.
