The 2011 Kia Optima headlight recall happened for burning out of low beam headlights. Being able to see at night is key for driving down the road. Your lights need to be functioning or You may get into a crash. Some issues will arise at some point. Blown fuse may come about. A failed relay means a failed light source. Corrosion is very nasty to deal with. A faulty wire could come about. Lights may burn out prematurely. These issues need to be dealt with pronto. These issues need to be dealt with as soon as possible. The light bulbs will burn out eventually. If it becomes too dim, You will have to change them. They aren't super expensive, so they won't hurt Your life savings.
