I'm going to assume You've actually changed Your oil; I know it's easy to disregard, but this silly light does exist for a reason; treat Your 2000 Honda Odyssey with love, and it won't leave You stranded outside Toledo at 3:14 am on a Tuesday morning in the middle of winter, like it did, erm, a "friend". Anyway, hop into Your Honda and turn the ignition to run, but don't start it up. Press the Select/Reset button, which is going to be on the steering wheel or a knob on Your dash, depending on Your trim level. Then, look on the display until You see Engine Oil Life/Indicator % show up there. When You've got that showing, go ahead and press down and hold the Select/Reset button for at least ten seconds, until You see the Engine Oil message begin to blink. If You have the model that says Engine Oil Life, then juSTSelect the Reset mode by hitting the info button on the steering wheel, and after that You can hit the Select/Reset to place the oil back at 100%. If You have the Engine Oil Indicator one, You can do the same with the knob, holding it more than five seconds, at which point You'll see the % for the indicator turn to 100%.

If you want to reset the maintenance light in a 2000 honda odyssey switch the ignition by turning the key to the "ii" position. Switch the ignition to the "off" spot, then press and hold the "trip-b" button in the odometer. Continue keeping the "trip-b" odometer button wile turning the ignition back to the "ii" position until the maint light is switched off. Switch "off" and then "on" the engine has cleared to search for the maint signal.
