The 2006 Nissan Titan useS6.5 quarts of SAE 5W-30 oil. Nissan recommends that You use synthetic oil when You need to change it. Oil comes in two man varieties, synthetic and conventional. Synthetic oil is engineered to give You better protection and longer life than the conventional petroleum based option. This means that You will only need to change Your oil every 7,500 miles with synthetic or every 3,500 to 5,000 with conventional. Always be sure to check Your oil at least once a month. You will want to make sure that it is filled, and You will want to make sure that it is free from debris. Excessively dark oil should be changed as soon as possible.
