To reset the AudiA4 steering angle sensor You will need to follow these steps. Start by turning the wheel all the way to the right, then letting go and letting it reset back to the middle position. Now do the same thing to the left, letting also return to the middle position. Now start the car and drive a short distance, about a quarter-mile, on a flat straight surface. Make sure You do not go above 15 mph while You are doing this. Now do not move the wheel, simply keep the engine running and wait. You will see the ANGL light come on and blink three times in a little bit, showing that it has been reset.

You must enable the vehicle to reset the Audi A4 steering angle sensor. Turn the steering wheel one time to the right and one time to the left. Drive in a small distance straight line on a flat surface at a speed not greater than 20 mph If the steering wheel is straight during the test drive then stop the vehicle with the wheels pointed straight Ensure that the steering wheel is not moved again. Keep the engine running and do not turn off the ignition.
