To reset the oil light in a 2016 Ford Transit first turn the ignition to the ON position. Do not turn on the engine. Press down on the gas and brake pedals at the same time fully depressing them. Hold them here for at least 10 seconds. The display will show "Service: Oil Reset Complete". At this point You can release the pedals and start the engine. When changing the oil the required type is SAE 5W-20 with a capacity of 6 quarts included the filter.
