Many drivers report wanting to remove their 2017 Ford Edge's rear light bar because of condensation inside. If this is Your case, be aware that Ford states that the presence of a fine mist is normal operation condition; only when it increases to a puddle or streaks should You worry. If this is the point You're at (or if Your issue is unrelated), read on and I'll do my best to walk You though. You actually remove the rear light bar from the interior of the cargo area. First, release the clips and remove the liftgate upper center trim panel. Release the clips and remove the grab handle cover. Next, remove the liftgate grab handle screws, and remove the lower and side liftgate trim panels as an assembly. Release the side liftgate trim panel upper retainer on both sides, as well as the middle retainers on both sides. Release the retainers and remove the side and lower liftgate trim panels as an assembly. If equipped, disconnect Your power liftgate switch. At this point, You'll need to release the clips and remove the liftgate side trim panels, which should give You access to the light bar's retaining clips. Once You remove these, the cover should break free.
