How do i perform the 2019 Kia Forte oil reset?

There are four different ways to reset the oil life on Your 2019 Kia Forte, and each of them is relatively simple. The first and easiest requires access to an OBD-II scan tool with oil life reset capability; if You have one, You can simply send the oil life reset command. Alternatively, You can set Your ignition to the ON position, then scroll to SERVICE REMINDER with the menu button. Then, press and hold OK until the mileage resets. Another method is turning the ignition to ON, and scrolling to MILEAGE with the same button as above. Input the desired interval, and the counter will reset. Finally, You can reset to factory defaults. This is a nuclear option which will also reset Your other saved data (trip counter, etc). Use the same menu button to scroll to RESET, and select it with OK. You'll see "Reset to factory default" displayed, and You can confirm by pressing YES and then OK.
