A small illuminated wrench in the driver's information display will indicate an oil change is due on the 2008 Nissan Rogue. Turn the ignition to the "on" position without firing the engine. To reset the oil life reminder, locate the small black knob on the right-hand side of driver's dash below the odometer. Press the end of the knob until reaching the Rogue's "settings" menu. From "settings" press again until a new menu displays and turn the knob and scroll to "maintenance". Press "maintenance" and move to the "service" option. Depress "service" and scroll to "reset". Depress "reset" and scroll to "back" button. The Rogue's oil life will be re-calibrated. When the engine is restarted, the reminder wrench should no longer be displayed.
