The 2017 AudiA4 has both Apple car play and android auto as built-in inclusions in the system. You may need to update them when You first buy the car, but this will likely happen automatically as long as You connect to wifi. Both services offer similar benefits, with voice recognition, maps and navigation, media, and internet browsing. They are also both well-reviewed, so You won't be missing out if You can only use one or the other. If You would prefer other services You can also use those, simply download them to Your phone and then link the phone to the car with bluetooth.

The Audi A4 comes with Apple CarPlay only if you have the Premium trim or higher. It does not come standard on all trim levels. If you have a lower trim, connectivity can be achieved using the standard Bluetooth or aux port.
