All models of the Honda Pilot froM2003 to 2017 come with timing belts rather than chains. The manual suggests that You have the belt replaced every 100,000 miles or so. Some people like to change it closer to 60,000 but You can inspect it YourseLFAnd if it looks like it's in good condition then You can wait a bit longer. There are some things You can look out for to tell if the belt is beginning to fail. Engine mIS Fires and difficulty starts, unusual noises from the engine, and rough idling are a few of the symptoms. It's best to get this taken care of as soon as possible before it breaks completely and You're unable to start Your vehicle. -
