Adaptive cruise control is achieved by sensors in the front of a vehicle that tell it how far away it is from the vehicle in front. Because of the extra sensors that are required, this feature is only offered in the driver assistance package on this vehicle. This package adds $1,800 to the price of the car, if purchased new.Since cruise control allows drivers to keep their vehicle at a constant speed, there is leSSRisk of the driver accelerating and speeding past other drivers. Additionally, cruise control limits the amount of fuel Your engine uses and reduces gas-wasting acceleration and deceleration.

Most HUDs display the pace, but the A4 also shows the speed limit (and if it is a school zone), the lane support guidance and the adaptive cruise control (ACC) and the traffic jam assist the operation are all special features available in the car.
