The 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 comes standard with P245/70R17 size tires. This number can seem complexBut it is pretty easy to break down when You know what each number means. The first number, 245, is the tire's width in millimeters. The next number, 70, is the tire's sidewall height in millimeters. The third number, 17, is the wheel diameter in inches. This means Your truck comes standard witH17 inch wheels. Dodge recommends that You inflate each tire to 35 psi. It is important to keep Your tires properly inflated because it reduces braking time and helps them wear more evenly. If Your tires are over or under inflated it can lead to them wearing down faster and needing to be replaced sooner.

I hate to disagree with you, Alex, but your interpretation of the tire dimensions is slightly in error. 70 is a ratio of the sidewall height to the width of the tire so it is 70% of 245 meaning the sidewall height is actually 192.5mm
