Reasons why I love my CR-V.
I love my Honda CR-V. The gas mileage I am getting is @33 mpg. I have 35000 and just replaced the tires. I do a lot of short trips. It is a very comfortable vehicle. I am 5 4” and the size is perfect. I feel very safe and protected. The control knobs on the steering wheel are very simple to use. It took a little bit to get used to using the cruise control.
accountCircle MingHoung S
A good reliable model at mid range around $30k price.
CR-V comes with a good performance, but with limited interior space, door height is not properly designed, materials used in vehicle are not highest quality, electronic equipment or device interface have room to improve. Price is in acceptable range comparing to RV-4 from Toyota..

Amazing car with equally amazing features.
This is my third Honda CR-V that I have leased. Each time it gets better and better with the standard features. I love apple carplay in my car, being able to connect my phone for navigation is amazing! The heated seats come in handy on long drives. The trunk space is the perfect size all while not compromising the space in the back seat.

Pros & cons of Honda CR-V.
The touch screen controlling radio, heat, ac, and mapping will sometimes freeze or flicker. At times I will have to shut the car off and then turn it back on to get it to work. The ride is very smooth, excellent shock absorption. Excellent mileage as well even when driving around town.
accountCircle Chi W
It is a very good designed car and very reliable car.
It is very safe and easy to drive. It is a classic car. It has big space interior and very comfortable seats. This is a very well known company and well designed car. The color is very good to keep dirt out. The truck is a big space, too. Everyone likes this car.
accountCircle Melinda M
It has great features. Comfortable for long drives.
My vehicle is a Honda cr v. I am so proud of owning this car. I am so happy that I spent my money on a great thing. I drive this car every day. Take my kids to school. Its performs very well and it's perfect for everyday driver. Its comfortable and reliable for everyone. It has great features.
accountCircle Debbie S
Comfortable and affordable.
Within the first month I had the battery die on me for no reason (just faulty). Other than that, there have been no major problems. It is a very smooth ride, and has all the current features (lane departure, adaptive cruise, back up cam, etc. ) The only real complaint I would give, is it does not handle as well in the snow as other SUV’s I have had in the past.

Electrical issues
I bought my CRV November of 2017. I have had issues with the electrical since day 1. Brought back in with no help from the dealership. Replaced the battery at my cost and still all the lights are on my dash more then off. Thus to say that all my perks such as cruise control and lane assist will not work when the dash is lit up. Can’t wait till my lease is up to return and go to another dealership.

My great Subaru forester that takes me wherever I want to go.
My Subaru is fabulous. It is a really stylish automobile. I like to drive it on all kinds of road surfaces. It does really well in all weather forms and is comfortable for all passengers. The company wants to know that they are doing the best for you and will frequently ask for feedback. That.’a nice!

Brown Subaru forester touring model.
Forester is very reliable, absolutely love it and after much research it was definitely the best choice for me. The visibility was a big draw for me, I'd say that is what stood out most compared to comparable vehicles. The interior leather and exterior paint color are what drove my decision to upgrade to the touring model versus the base model.

Good except for cruise control and trunk issues.
The number one problem I have with my forester is that when you lay the seats down, there is a bump between the seat end and the trunk which makes unloading and loading things very difficult and also comprises the size of which it can fit. Other than that so far everything seems great. Handles snow and dirt well. Oh also you cannot use cruise control when you eyesite is off and that is very annoying because sometimes the eye site just shuts off for no good reason.

Shiny blue forester with no scratches.
The only thing is my uncle put in the wrong wiper cleaner and it won't stop streaking the windshield so it gets blurry really quickly. Sometimes the engine does start to hesitate a little bit. But the overall performance is great, and gets me to where I am going in one piece.

Superb Subaru mountain and city driving.
Coming from North Carolina Subaru is all you see for the terrain there. The comfort, Drivability, reliability is above and beyond anything I have driven. I felt I had to buy a new car here but this automobile is exceptional and drive and handle great in city driving.

The Subaru: a car for families.
I love my Subaru! When deciding on a new car to purchase, we did a lot of research on reliability and safety especially and Subaru seemed like the best for our future family! It has a ton of space in the back and there is plenty of leg room in the back seats! I personally love the heated seat feature because I am always cold. We have Bluetooth connectivity for phone and music which is great because I can call hands free and listen to Spotify without any issues. We’ve only had the car for 3 months but we have had absolutely no issues with it.

Subaru great car great mileage comfortable nice car.
Drives great comfortable good on gas great mileage, sun roof. Pretty color handles the road good has side approaching warnings in the mirror when your near someone or something, back up camera. Heated seats air menu options to keep track of information, Bluetooth for phone.

Reliable and fun to drive.
Very comfortable to drive. Has great pick up speed. Handles extremely well. We've driven it over some rough roads and it handled very well. I have had no issues mechanically with the vehicle. I have owned the vehicle over a year now. I would recommend Subaru to anyone as it is very reliable.

Love my Honda but not ideal for multiple children in car seats and strollers.
I love my CR-V for its reliability. I have the oil changed regularly and have had to purchase new tires, but I have not had to have any repairs. The outside looks great but I do not like the fabric seats. Although they are easy to clean, they mark and stain easily. I have the tan interior, so with toddlers, it looks terrible even though I clean the interior at least once a month. The only other complaint is the size of the cargo area. I would think it would be a bit bigger in and SUV. Put one stroller in the back, and there is very little room for other things, such as groceries.
accountCircle Lynn M.
Stay Away From the Honda CRV EXL! Nothing but Problems!
I have had my CRV EXL for 7 months! It has been one headache after another! I only had it a couple of moths when the battery died for no reason! After sitting at the dealership for over 3 hours, they replaced it. Then not a couple of days later, every warning system light came on when I started it, for no reason! It's been to the dealership 6 times for this problem! They last time, they kept it for 4 days and told me they fixed it for good this time!! NOPE!! Got in it today, not 2 weeks later and surprise...The lights are on again!!!! I'm not the only one with these problems!! Getting a lawyer involved, sick to death of this lemon!! It has a defect in it and nothing is being done about it!
accountCircle Marilyn M
Mechanically drives fine no issues. Minor cosmetic issues.
All around mechanically I adore my car. It hasn't given me any serious issues mechanically and i've had it since 2017 when it first came out and has been heavily driven. It feels smaller when driving it so maneuverability is easy and is comfortable to park and easy to see out and see the blind spots. I have had numerous problems with the vehicle as far as. Cosmetic wise. The right mirror top part broke off when I was driving. It literally just popped off assuming it was because it had snowed and the water went down in the crack of the top of the mirror and caused it to crack as I was driving. The gear shift button randomly popped out one day when I was shifting it into drive and had to be found and shoved back into the gear shift hole and thankfully stays in there. I have also just discovered the tube that sprays the windshield with fluid is broken and need of repair. Other than that the car has not given me any other issues.
accountCircle Noreen D
CR-V owner - wish I would have done a little more shopping before deciding on it.
Overall, the CR-V is good SUV but there a few things I am not happy with. The technology package is not great, I have had a lot of issues. Apple CarPlay does not work right about 1/2 the time. I have been told it is because I use a non-apple charger but it happens when I use and apple charger too. It is just very frustrating especially considering the price of the vehicle.
accountCircle Janina S
Sporty looking SUV with great technology for entertainment and safety.
I absolutely love this car, it drives well and is not too bulky like some other SUVs I have had. Really feels like more of a luxury car. Great technology inside, and I like its sporty look. Only issue is that I have consistently had problems with the tire pressure system.

Too expensive for the quality.
The color and comfort are great. At only 3 years old the exhaust system has a problem. I will not buy this car again. The brakes have been done already too. It just does not seem the quality I was expecting. I thought Subaru was better quality and it cost a lot of money.
accountCircle Brian B
Subaru forester: very large sunroof with easy control.
This car takes too long to shift out of reverse and into forward. Has a couple seconds delay before it engages, and seems to be like it could be a safety issue. I also do not like the auto air control. It is not user friendly and I cannot seem to shut it off.
accountCircle Kelley C
SUV with a manual and sunroof - hard to find.
Was hard to find a SUV that had both a sunroof and came in a manual. The sunroof is huge and amazing but incredibly noisy. The premium is a pretty basic level but the only one that offered a manual so it doesn't have very many upgraded features. Love the heated front seats. Had a problem with the shifter vibrating while driving in 4th gear right from the beginning, took two separate trips to the dealer to get it found and fixed but it was covered under warranty.
accountCircle Karen S
Love the car despite some flaws.
One of the warning lights (coolant) comes on everything you start the car and remains on for the first 5-10 minutes of driving. There does not seem to be a fix or way to clear it. The second issue is that my side mirror cover will not stay affixed to the mirror.
accountCircle Sandra P
My Subaru Forester has high safety ratings, and is backed by a great warranty.
I trust the Subaru name, and I like that it is all wheel drive. It is roomy but not huge. My Subaru is very basic with minimum frills. I only have minor complaints such as no light in the back when you open the hatch. And I would love to have heated seats and EyeSight if I had been able to afford those options.
accountCircle Nami A
Subaru forester is all black with all black interior and red interior lights.
The appearance of this vehicle is sleek. The interior contains a large screen for the radio and Bluetooth. My phone connects to the car easily and you can add multiple devices to the car easily. It is a safe reliable vehicle for a growing family. The only thing I dislike is the fact that it's a rough ride. I am not sure if it is the shocks or what it is but if you run over a mild pothole or bump, you will most certainly feel it. If I were to choose and spend my money on a car with a smoother ride I would but it being such a reliable and safe vehicle counteracts it.

Pros & Cons from Owners

2017 Honda CR-V

likeFilled Knada L.

It is a reliable vehicle. It has great gas mileage. The back seats fold down. It has cruise control. It has front and back windshield wipers. It has vents in the back seat so you can feel the air conditioner and heat and be able to control it.

dislikeFilled Knada L.

It tells you when the tire pressure is low and when the air is checked in the tires you have to press the reset button instead of it resetting by itself. It comes with only a radio and does not include a CD player or cassette player.

likeFilled Allison H.

It is easy to drive, low maintenance, and very comfortable. There's plenty of room in the back seats as well as in the trunk. I like the front dashboard layout and the rear view camera that helps when you are backing out or into a parking area.

dislikeFilled Allison H.

I dislike the trunk hatch. When you open the hatch after it has rained and/or is raining, the water drips off the trunk onto your head. I cannot think of any other cons about this vehicle. It is the second one I have owned and I'd buy it again.

likeFilled Marcia S.

Honda resale value, low maintenance, features offered for price. I like the driver assist, heated seats, the display for maps, rear backup camera and cargo area net and cover up. It is easy to drive and the gas mileage is good.

dislikeFilled Marcia S.

None. I have no complaints with this vehicle. I do however have a smaller SUV which is easier for me to get around in and park. I do preferred the larger SUV for long trips because of more storage room.

likeFilled Cindy G.

The LX model is cheaper than the other models offered for this SUV. It has great gas mileage, powered windows, AC, Bluetooth and USB connections, rear camera view for backing up, good trunk space and back seats fold all the way down for more trunk space if needed.

dislikeFilled Cindy G.

The only con I have encountered with this vehicle is the gear stick button broke and popped out on its own. It happened within the same year I got it which normally would have been covered through warranty but in my case I passed the mileages for the warranty due to the distance I have to travel for work.

Pros & Cons from Owners

2017 Subaru Forester

likeFilled Jess O.

The car is one of the only ones we could find with a Manual transmission. Room for dog in the back plus humans in the back seat. Comfortable. Good in the snow with good snow tires. We've had no problems with the VT winters.

dislikeFilled Jess O.

At times, it can feel that it lacks power. Just needs that extra push going uphill that's what it lacks. Other than that, there are no significant cons of my current vehicle. I do not have anything else to discuss.

likeFilled Cl S.

Nimble. Good in snow. Small but roomy. Great for hauling 'stuff'. Great visibility. Styling is not exiting but allows it to blend into the rest of the environment. Gas mileage ok and the size of the gas tank allows me to only have to fill it up every six days. The seats heat up very quickly.

dislikeFilled Cl S.

It takes 20 minutes for the car to heat up in the winter. Headrests in passenger back seats obscure vision. Air conditioner had a leak but it was still under warranty. The back windshield wiper fluid stopped working after a couple years. When parking and placing car in reverse (stick), the clutch has popped out causing the car to roll across the parking lot.

likeFilled Courtney K.

Love the features. Touch screen map/audio. Rear-view camera. 4-Wheel drive. Cruise control, spatial awareness, and blind spot lights. Durable. Lots of automatic features. X mode. Good for mountain driving.

dislikeFilled Courtney K.

I honestly do not think there are any major cons with this vehicle. I really enjoy driving it, and would for sure consider buying another Subaru. I think the only thing I have noticed is the lack of a spot for sunglasses.

likeFilled Audrey R.

High safety ratings and great gas mileage. The car is easy to drive and park. Lots of cargo room in the back. The back passenger area has ample leg room for adults. The Bluetooth is easy to pair as is the garage door opener.

dislikeFilled Audrey R.

The seats are uncomfortable on long trips. There could be more padding in the seats. The light colored interior is harder to keep clean with pets. There have been a few recalls. Mice have entered the interior of the car with the car being closed up. This is my second Forester and I really like it. I have been happy with Subaru for the most part.
