The truck looks and drives great. The interior is roomy in the front and back seat, and the technology has greatly improved with this truck. I would highly recommend this truck as this is the fourth Chevrolet Silverado that I have owned and definitely the best so far.
There have already been four recalls on this vehicle and it is only a year old. There is a noise when I use the Auto Unlock feature that the dealership cannot seem to fix. I like the vehicle but I hope the issues resolve themselves soon.
The model I have is the double cab - the rear area has doors, seating for three passengers, and the rear seat folds up to use that space for cargo. It has On-Star, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Sirius XM radio, and Android Auto. I also like the corner steps on the rear bumper.
It does not have 4WD or the new-fangled tailgate. The V8 engine is not the most fuel efficient choice. It has carpet on the flooring in the cabin, and I preferred the rubber mat covered floor of my previous truck.
The feature packages vary widely making it difficult to get exactly what you want from the mid tier and below. The truck rides very smooth, the interior is refined and functional, the body is smooth and the bed is the largest in the class.
This vehicle has faced several recalls recently. The vehicle is manufactured in both the United States and Mexico. More of the Mexican made models have needed repairs. The price is inflated for most models and there is very few value deals on them.
Very high quality and fun to use the electronic features. It gets many compliments on the road. It is very quiet. The sound system is very good. Love the wireless cell phone charging. Heated and ventilated seats are the best.
I wish it would automatically switch to the front camera when parking. I need to see if I can pull up further. It is not simple to select the home setting then the camera icon, and then the front camera when you are trying to park.
The power the truck has is great the only downside is the fuel mileage that comes with it. Other than that the truck runs great and is a smooth ride. I pull and 31 ft camper trailer with it and it's not top of the line pulling but it'll get the job done.
The cons are the short truck bed and the fuel mileage. My avg. Is 15 miles per gallon at 65-70 miles per hour. The other downside it the lift kit I had put on it makes the truck ride better but towing capacity is now next to nothing.
Comfortable and confident in its ability to get the things done I need it to. It works well for my needs. It tows a boat well. The dashboard it well laid out. The interior is good for it is price point.
Gas mileage is kind of bad, my friends f-150 that is similar in price and engine level gets better mileage. Otherwise the truck is pretty nice. The brakes could be a little better, but not unsafe. Good truck.
The truck is great for work (construction). It is Good for hauling. It is a Good size, not too huge. The Interior is nice. Cooled and heated seats work good. The tailgate drops from the remote. The mileage is good.
The back seat of the truck is not a full cab. The windshield got a crack in the first 5 months. Something is wrong with the seal on the passenger door. The tires makes a whistling sound when going over 80 mph.
Hemi powered 5.7 Liter engine. Maximum comfort. Free year of Sirius satellite included. Powered windows including powered rear cab window. Towing capacity regulated by automatic hitch control. Keyless ignition.
Gas mileage is horrible for street driving and in general driving to/from using surface streets ESPECIALLY in San Diego County. This vehicle is best utilized for one requiring constant use of the bed and towing. It has power but you shouldn't buy this truck for recreational uses that do not include mountain or rural lifestyles. Period.
