The truck looks and drives great. The interior is roomy in the front and back seat, and the technology has greatly improved with this truck. I would highly recommend this truck as this is the fourth Chevrolet Silverado that I have owned and definitely the best so far.
There have already been four recalls on this vehicle and it is only a year old. There is a noise when I use the Auto Unlock feature that the dealership cannot seem to fix. I like the vehicle but I hope the issues resolve themselves soon.
The model I have is the double cab - the rear area has doors, seating for three passengers, and the rear seat folds up to use that space for cargo. It has On-Star, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Sirius XM radio, and Android Auto. I also like the corner steps on the rear bumper.
It does not have 4WD or the new-fangled tailgate. The V8 engine is not the most fuel efficient choice. It has carpet on the flooring in the cabin, and I preferred the rubber mat covered floor of my previous truck.
The feature packages vary widely making it difficult to get exactly what you want from the mid tier and below. The truck rides very smooth, the interior is refined and functional, the body is smooth and the bed is the largest in the class.
This vehicle has faced several recalls recently. The vehicle is manufactured in both the United States and Mexico. More of the Mexican made models have needed repairs. The price is inflated for most models and there is very few value deals on them.
Very high quality and fun to use the electronic features. It gets many compliments on the road. It is very quiet. The sound system is very good. Love the wireless cell phone charging. Heated and ventilated seats are the best.
I wish it would automatically switch to the front camera when parking. I need to see if I can pull up further. It is not simple to select the home setting then the camera icon, and then the front camera when you are trying to park.
The pros would be the backup assistance camera, updated technology offered, the family loves the auto start(heated up before so they do not have to get in a cold truck) and also the use of Ford Pass(Easy payment option and also auto start).
The cons to our truck would be very little due to our family loving the truck. Our only con would be how much it costs to fill up the gas tank and maybe how much it costs to replace the tires since we receive snow.
Drives good. Very sporty look. Music sounds good with 6 speakers. No need for upgrades on speakers. Good on fuel because of the ecoboost. I can drive the entire week to and from work without filling up. Room enough to fit 6 adults comfortably. Mesh grille is sporty.
I believe it is slightly overpriced. The stop and go functionally is very subpar. There is a slow to respond infotainment system. Turbo engine fail to elevate fuel economy 10-speed automatic can be slow to shift, that is about it.
Smooth ride, really powerful, spacious interiors and really comfortable. Really efficient with gas consumption. This truck is the #1 truck of the year. The price was relatively affordable. The crew cab is super spacious.
Ford depreciate really fast, so the price of selling is high for the valuation in the street. Is a big truck so for parking you need to find a good spot to park. But overall is a great truck and have give me a great service.
Rides very smoothly and is very comfortable with plenty of room. Economical when considering fuel. Has ability to haul whatever you need to haul or tow. Also has the step on the tailgate which is very helpful. The only con I have is the heated seat comes on whenever it is started and we cannot seem to find out how to discontinue that.
As I mentioned previously the heated seat on the driver's seat comes on when the vehicle is started and we cannot seem to figure out how to keep that from happening. There is also a blind spot on passenger making it hard to pass a vehicle.
